Advice on party selection

Negative DMuting seems fine, i would say =)

You forgot a low wisdom score means your mana rate is pitiful....I was playtesting a game of mine with 255 stats, picked up somehting...crown of nerra...and suddenly wandered why my mana wasn´t rising!

RTC offers a version of this too, with the difficulty set up...while your stats don´t change, damage and food depletion rates can be so severe on harder settings that it makes noodds...very fun,in a perverse way = )

It's been so long since I've played DM (last time was back on the Amiga)

But I remember I used to pick different ones but Gothmog was *always* in my party.

BTW what does the cloak of night do again?

The Cloak of Night increases the Dexterity of the character wearing it +8. It can be worn on the body or around the neck.

I recently started playing DM again, when I was wandering on an old-game site I ran into it and was like " YESSSSSS OMG YESSSSSSS"
Coz I used to watch the game when my brother was playing it when I was like 7 years old:)) After I got his Atari but when I reached lvl5 the Atari broke down:(

But anywayz I started a party with Hissssa, Leif(stupid dick with his low strenght DOH :) ) Wu Tse and Gothmog and I must say I choose Gothmog more for his presence coz he looks cool.
In the dungeons though Wu Tse is like gaining lvl's like a madman, while Gothmog is a slow wuss:)
It's that I like Gothmog more so I like to train him a lot so he can keep up with Wu Tse, but Wu Tse is Artisan in both magical skillz now and Gothmog only recently reached while I train him a LOT. Wu Tse has like 63 wisdom and GOthmog 53, with Wu Tse almost at 100 mana and Gothmog at 66.....

i have made a list of all chars, and ordered them by the height of the most important skills (for me) - wis, than vit.
wu tse was, according to that list, the best char of all.
following: wuuf, chani, boris and syra.
