Reawakening this thread by posting some more riddles I've written recently. As before, please DO NOT POST ANSWERS IN THE THREAD - just PM me with your guesses or if you'd like a hint or whatever

1.)
Twins they are, who work together,
Though it’s hard in windy weather.
Though they beat, they do not strike.
They fold and stretch and move alike.
If one’s hurt or even dies,
The other is no use to rise.
2.)
Light in darkness, changes shape.
At it people often gape.
Mostly seen in dark of night,
Sometimes it braves day’s great light.
3.)
What possession do all own
That they should not abuse,
That proves fatal if at all
This thing they ever lose?
