Not in the slightest - It's a comedy programme on Channel 4 (UK) about teachers in a UK High School.

The power of the admin shines through again I see

I loved 'This Life', forgot about it until a TV programme reminded me of it. A certain unnamed actor was good in that as well

this life was, indeed, a bloody good show and a pity it never went into a third series

we seem to be having some problems with the board just now...random people are being deleted...entirely at random...in a random fashion... randomly, as it were....

It seems as though we're all ice skating on a pond that hasn't frozen over particularly well...

eh, that's just life really : )
dos anyone know why this life was never picked up again? did the actors just get given work off the back of it and not sign up for another one, or did the bbc just go 'meh' and dump it?

i'm so glad this is a running joke....i pity the poor modem users who have to download it!

Ah Broadband this is the life... Why not make a user's picture thread, I know we've all had a pop at beo so let's see what other look-a-likes we can find. Or are user picture threads something you try to steer away from?

I am lost... what are we talking about ?

Rimmer and Co or "Teachers"? LOL And no - I usually don't watch stuff that indicates it plays at schools, universities or any other body of education.

no policy on it, so i will leave wiser heads than mine to say 'why not' or 'no, because...'
sounds like a good idea though...or at worst, you can edit an entry in the 'hello, tell us about yourself' thread
i'm not just saying that because i have TWO GIANT PICTURES OF ME AND CHRIS BARRIE ON THIS FREAKIN' THREAD OR ANYTHING, i think it soudns a cool idea
anywya, nice suggetsion - random accounts being deleted now seem to have gone from being randomly deleting people with 'pa' in their name to 'pau' so that's a relief...
edit: i was taking about this life : )

Was Rimmer, then Teachers and This Life, then Rimmer again, now about a user's picture thread. What's wrong with watching educational institution based programmes?
Edit: A relief for me indeed!

Nothing at all. But I just can't relate to programmes that has 16-18 year olds playing the main parts. I just prefer to watch programmes where "adults" play the main part.

I could upload a photo of me, but it was taken with the piece of plastic that came with the computer that was supposed to be a digital camera. I tried to sharpen it with Photoshop and its gone a bit weird...

wow, strong stuff for wine
i remember a friend and i walking literally into some 'hello, have wine' thing at the front entrance to our university building one day as we were leaving...four glasses of wine later we were both a little drunk - can't believe the university's own label was 12%
