CSB is so non-linear and much of it is
unnecessary to win the game. The
'Find All Items' challenge is a neat way
to demonstrate that you have seen the
entire dungeon. After you have
completed it you will feel comfortable
anywhere in the dungeon. It takes a
long time.
It is also possible to create a dead-end
situation where you cannot proceed to
accomplish the challenge. Do you know
how? Is there more than one way?

Maybe if you put any of the Corbums in "Surrender Your Possessions" - I don't think such items are retrievable, are they?

I think perhaps dead end was the clue - is there a tile of 'dead end' you cannot get to, that you can throw the corbums at?

You may misuderstand what I asked.
We were talking about the alternate
quest in CSB.....to collect all the items
and kill all the monsters. It is possible
to make a mistake such that all the items
cannot be collected. Is there more than
one way to make such a mistake?
I don't know about the 'dead end'.
Can you be more specific?

AAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAA, I see, you were not posing an amusing riddle you knew the answer to, just making sure such a herculean task did not have a way of being scuppered close to the end
I do not know of any area where you can throw an item that cannot be recovered... the 'dead end' with the knights I thought might be a likely candidate where you shift between two different corridors, one of which will not have an end you can reach
