I'm sure i've heard that one before. Can't place it though.

The lockpick one seems familiar but I can't place it.

As for my quote - there was a weaver in one early 1990s game. In fact, he was the main character of the game.

Then I am afraid I don't know that game. Don't worry, I'll get one eventually.

As for mine, some of the dialogue is clunky because it was translated into English after its original release. One more quote:

That was too close! You were almost a Jill sandwich!

Oh wait...

I'm not 100%, but i think that is
Spoiler
Resident Evil
. Long, long time since i played that but i remember
Spoiler
Jill and Chris.
.
Still don't know Jan's though.

Hmmm, OK, it was from the
Spoiler
Loom
, an astonishing game even today.

How about his: "Hey, this tastes great. It makes you feel warm all over."

Never played
Spoiler
Loom
, but i remember it... and the "Weaver" quote is obviously very apposite.
Don't know the last quote either!

I'll try one myself... How about this:
"Some cowboy just clipped me on the way in!"

No idea on any of these! I'd put up another of my own but we have plenty to be getting along with as it is, I think...

CS' quote sounds like
Spoiler
Dr.Strangelove
, but i'm not sure what game it's linked to.

In the french version of the game:
J'ai les couilles qui grattent. ( My balls itch ).
Spoiler
In the backgroud noises at taverns.

From an action-RPG published in 2007 ( PC Windows ) and 2012 ( Mac OS ). The 2 came out in 2011 and the 3 in 2015.

Aaargh... Forgot that one was still unanswered. Must remember to check previous page *slaps forehead*.

So still unanswered are:
"My balls itch."
"Yahoooo!"
"Hey, this tastes great. It makes you feel warm all over."
"Some cowboy just clipped me on the way in!"

...and possibly oh_brother's quote. Gave an answer that i'm not 100% on, but fairly confident.

@Saumun - yes, spot on.

For "My balls itch", I don't know for sure. But based on Terkio's hints I am going to guess
Spoiler
The Witcher
The others, no idea.

Still no idea... but here is another clue to YAHOOOO, there were 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 ton bombs.

OK, I'll give you one more quote from that game before I tell you: "My, that was a yummy Slime Mold."

No idea about Jan's.
Same thing here... One more from the same game, then i'll give it up.
"Got you on the scope Red Leader... See that big, bad dustball up ahead?"

Right, so my quotes were from the absolute RPG classics -
Spoiler
The Rogue
!

So now I'll try something more simple: "YOU GOT THE BFG9000! OH, YES."

That one is definitely
Spoiler
Doom
.... and the similarities to my game (in more ways than one) are palpable, so i'll give mine up also.

Mine was
Spoiler
Quake 2
, which features the
Spoiler
BFG10K
.

Now i'll go way back for this new one:
"Night has fallen and the foul are abroad."

Yep, you're right Saumun. Remember the grin  on the (often bloody) face in the "inventory" line when you got it? Oh, and I've never played
Spoiler
Quake
- too modern for me perhaps.

Don't know your new quote or any of the others still unanswered. I've got a couple of new ones in my head but will wait for the others to "clear" the current list.

Yay! I got off the mark. I also had Jan's last quote more or less (
Spoiler
I knew it was either Doom or Quake
).

Sadly, normal service is now resumed because I don't know either of the current live ones (we have CS's and Sauman's, right?).

But since there are only two live I will jump the queue ahead of Jan and give another of my own. But hopefully a very easy one.
Hadoken!

I want to say
Spoiler
Street Fighter 2
for oh_brother's, but it may have been in the original. I can't remember!

A clue for mine, and another quote:
Early to mid 80s... 8-bit (obviously).
"The ice fear is utterly cold."

This is from some space-travel game, isn't it? Wing Commander logically came to my mind, but then, hold on a second, it isn't the fabulous

Alright, and how about this: "I must have left it in my other pants."? :D

Damn... Beaten to
Spoiler
Elite
! Love that game.
"I must have left it in my other pants." -- I think that was in all the

games.

Seems there are no takers for mine, so i'll give it up..... It is

@Saumun: Yes, you're right, of course. Oh, and I've never heard of your game :| .

Right, a new one: (someone, like Peter Smith...) "...is under Molecular Control."

Hmmm... No idea about that one.
Spoiler
Lords of Midnight
is a very nice (if pretty short) adventure. Popular on the Spectrum and C64, but i don't know if it ever made it to any other platform.

Hmm, haven't heard of that one, Saumun. Mine was guessed correctly, of course - I believe the quote has been used in all iterations of said game so far (definitely in the second one anyway) :). Okay, I've got another one, super-easy if you know the game (otherwise...not so much, I suppose ;))...

"Okay, look. We've both said a lot of things you're going to regret, but I think w can put our differences behind us. For science. You monster."

Sauman - yes, that was the one. Never heard of
Spoiler
Lords of Midnight
, but then again I did not have a C64 or a Spectrum.

I never played
Spoiler
X-COM2: Terror from the Deep
, but I enjoyed the first one,
Spoiler
both the original and the remake
.

Ameena's sounds like it must be SciFi or present day. And it sounds funny. But since it should be super easy if I knew the game, I am guessing that I don't.

Here's a new one:
