I think you get one automatically if you visit Fernswarthy's tower with a ten-leaf clover, but don't bother. I've been collecting them for a while and stuffing them into skulls. One is on the way. And yes, you do need a wig. So you have a complete body, then? Or do you need the skirt, too?

I've got some hunting to do today. I'll see if I can't find Ameena enough parts for her own maid.

The best adventure I've seen so far for stat gains is the papaya war in the Palindome. If you choose the first option, you get three papayas. If you then choose the second option, you get a ridiculous stat gain. (Don't do it without three papayas!) If you choose the third option, you still get a fairly ridiculous stat gain, though only half as much as the second. This is also where you get items needed to appease Satan's taste in music, in case anyone cares, and if you find any gnat meat, I can make it into some tasty lasagna.

Yeah, brainsweepers are in the main tower ruins. I have the complete body (frilly skirt good for somehting) an I think I have a wig somewhere, so cool, all set for however many adventures!

Speaking of which, we have 55,000 now - we can afford that calender! Ameena, feel free to make it boys :D

I have alot of stuff for the meat maid too, might see if i can already compete the body

And aaaaaaaaaha to satan's thing! Finally, the clue to that - I've been beating my head on thayt one for ages!

And yes, you are well on your way with the macguffin quest, but be warned - you still have some fun ahead!

Killed ed today - that was quite funny. As a disco bandit, the continued bleeding from the disco face stab meant he just kept dying instantly :D

Continued bleeding? That sounds good - might actually bother investing in that skill is it's a DoT...
As for the maid - I have at least one wig and frilly skirt, off the Gnoll transvestites or whatever they are I think. And I have a brain, as mentioned. What kind of skull is it? There's a few, I think. If you can tell me the recipie I've most likely got all the bits I need already...
In the MacGuffin quest I got into the Wine Cellar last night, in Spookyraven. I had to look on the Wiki to discover I should've been wearing the spectacles but now I have at least one bottle for all but one rune I think. I hope I don't need to pour out bottles for every rune in that "message" thing in the diary, 'cause it's, like, half a page long. But the symbol thing on the wall only has three of the runes listed. Meh, I'll get a bottle for the rune I'm still lacking and then maybe have a mess around.

It is indeed a Dico thief skill - 10 points. Not sure if it's part of a combo, I htink it's the effect of the stab - 16-17 points of damage, and if you are lucky it carries on afterwards

You need to put it into a brainy skull (the description makes it obvious after the fact annoyingly! :D )

Yeah, thre spectacles were weird - I think I needed the hints for that and the bedroom

And no, the rne diary entry I don't get. It's a little bit annoyign and painful to work out the sequence, I have put quite a few dusty bottles into the clan stash if you want to mess aroudn with them. There must be some claever way of determinig tyhe sequence, possibly from the diary entry, but I don't know it :(

4 adventures! 1 adventure from time piece if I remember it. 5 adventures from the self help book!

If we get the calender that would be another 3 for a total of 13 extra adventures per day!

I'll have a look see what to get next for us, yeah. But not right now as I'm going to bed in a minute. Went up to show Ollie to a friend and ended up having him out on the glove for about half an hour. He poohed on the floor twice but was otherwise very good :D.

Oh, if you guys find any canopic jars in the pyramid, do you mind if I have the ancient spices? I need those for the gnat lasagna, and it would save me the hassle of gathering them myself. I've got three gnat filets ready to go. Yikes these mega-foods are expensive to make.

Server just crapped out on me again. I think KoL doesn't like me anymore.

By the way, have you guys thought about using Skype or Ventrillo or something so we can chat while we're online together? I don't expect it would happen too often, but it would be much easier to coordinate our play that way. I use Skype myself but would be willing to run a Ventrillo server if it came to that.

I have a ton - must admit to going to offer them, then forgetting :D

I think thye may have some issues - not having the server crap out, but have had the page sudden;y get much, much slower, when it didn't used to....

I use skype etc on my laptop as the microphone etc is impossible to use on my desktop, but it's not comfortable to play on my laptop - I could always do so at some point, but it's not my natural default at all - my laptop usually sits at 90 degrees to me in the chair on a small table showing a DVD :D

It had to be eleven. :)

I discovered how we can all get another +3 adventures AND a much better house. Adventure at the Palindrome until you get the raffle ticket, and use it while you have a ten-leaf clover in your inventory. Then you'll need to visit Hey Deez with some rockin' tunes. I can help you with the rest of the items if you need it.

More gnat lasagna in the stash, by the way, thanks to beo.

I haven't been to a pyramid yet, so whatever you want from there, I can't yet get.
I've not heard of Skype or Ventrillo, but I have MSN Messenger if you wanna chat in that.

I have started the war and finished the first of eight sets. This is a lot easier than I expected, but just as repetitive and dull. Ah well. Another week and I should have my wossname, if all goes as planned.

I was talking about voice chat. I can't use MSN for that because my messenger of choice is Miranda, and it dispenses with all the bells and whistles of bulky, corporate messengers. But I do use Skype, so I posited it as an alternative. Doesn't really matter. Oh, and if you guys haven't noticed, there's a ton of lasagna in the staff. I made everything I could. It's getting cold.

I might have a dig in then, when I get some time for a decent KoL session...which isn't usually till Saturday :P. Still, I can do a bit here and there before then...

I decided to not be a pansy and start the war pretty quickly. And I'm a little disappinted in the RNG and concept if the junkyard it to be an example of it. I wentr to the junkyard, took the quest, then have spent 100 adventures fighting grmlins. I'm parnoid I missed somehting, but gremlin potions and the disco power of trying to avoid unneccessary combats don't seem to be yeilding any results.

I gave up and messed aout and will need to play tomorrow properly

Oh, and I pretty much have been putting 2-3 cocktails into the stash each day when I remmeber, so check out for those pervy named items!

I drew quite a few cocktails out of the stash to stock some adventures for the war. If you find anymore herbs, spices, secret blends, or ancient spice, chuck 'em my way and I'll kick 'em up a notch. The rest of the ingredients are on me (since I have to conjure noodles and buy the MSG anyway), but I won't turn my head at casserole dishes if you have any lying around.

I hope I find a bounty in a good loot place soon. Having to scour them from low-level areas is getting on my nerves, since they're weighted to take no less than 40 adventures, and I usually end up spending more than 50.

Added some insane burritos to the stash and kicked us up to a cool 100,000, so buy whatever adventure bonus item you want.

Yeah, money doens't seem to be an issue recently - raised 50,000 myself and managed to buy all the disco skills!

The ant hoe and the cocaboa were great pets!

With the bounty hunts, it seems that on a hunt requiring a large amonut of items (say, 40), they drop after pretty much every mob you fight, whereas on a hunt requiring a small number of drops (ten or less), you have to do a lot more fights before you get the mobs you need, so you end up probably doing that many adventures anyway.

Yes, but the low-level adventures don't give you any stats. I'd be more interested in hunting in, say, the pyramid or Palindome than Fernswarthy's tower.

Yeah, I know what you mean, you have to pick your moments or else you only have the choices of low level rubbish

I also know what you mean about the battlefield - not only is the junkyard annying me with repetitive battles, but the lighthouse and sonova beach were repeititive and occasionally dangerous until I got the items. Hpe the others are better!

We now have some more furniture :D. Slots remaining in the Rumpus Room are the outlet, the rug, and the dusty corner. Nothing for any of those slots gives extra adventures...I was thinking of maybe getting the Potted Meat Tree (gives 1k meat per day to each member)...costs 200k to buy. Any alternative requests? We have 30k currently remaining in the stash.
But for now I'm going to bed :P.

Lol, I noticed the calender just now when I refreshed my window! Woohoo us! Will think about what's next, 200k seems alot, then again I could actually afford my superhuman cocktail crafting skill (no idea what it lets me do yet) without thought, so I gues earning a shedload of money right now!

Done some hippy quests aroudn the battlefield, asside from the shop one (glad to have it back up and running) thye are quite lojng and tedious though! Still I have access to munitions and healing and stuff, so not too shabby.

Did you do the orchard quest as a hippie or orc? If you do it as an orc, you basically get access to unlimited alcohol, except tequila (which is always in demand, by the looks of it). Oh, and they sell herbs! I'm prepping some more hearty dishes, when I get a few ingredients.

Bleh...got totally ganked in one hit by Lord Spookyraven last night...somewhere in the region os 115 cold damage kinda killed me straight away. I'll have another go at him when I can be arsed to go through my entire equipment list and see what I have that gives cold resist :P.

Edit - Bastard! Had another go just for the hell of it, thinking "Hmm I've got 140+ hp - hopefully he'll only take about half of that and then maybe I'll be able to hit him once or twice", but no...this time he nuked me for 149, thereby ganking me straight away...and this time it was Spooky damage! If it's a random effect he uses, it looks like I'll just have to equip anything I've got which gives general Elemental resistance and see if that works. Bleh.

Another edit - Ha! Just checked the skill trainer and saw the interesting-looking (passive) Heart of Polyester, which from the description sounds like it gives Sleaze resist. Bought that (13k meat - ouch but meh, I had about 46k on me) and thought "Meh I'll have another go at Spookyraven"...then what does he hit me with? Sleaze damage! Only did about 73 dam so it would seem my resistance to that is (now) pretty good :D. Anywya, after that he kept missing me so now woohoo, dead Spookyraven and I think it's the Palindome next - I already got the charms so yaaay :D.

Yeha, I believe that he takes out almost all your health no matter what. Be at full health, have somehtinng hugely health-restoring in your inventory (I had green pixel potion, I think red rocks too)

I know, the heart of polyester I went with too then got spanked by anything not spooky til I won!

Seriously, full health, take the hit to a few ep, restore, then go mash him up seems to be the way, but well done for surviving him!

The ambidextorous funkslinging was great, I attacked him with scrolsl and other offensive items while healing :D

I got the superhuman cocktail crafting skill last level (can't believe I am now level 16) and asell as getting a few extra items per skill use of the advanced crafting, I think i've just been given access to a cool machine that upgrades ingredients

Tomorrow should gte more doohickies, and I can see if I can upgrade a champagne and raspberry cocktail into something rivalling a tofu!

Well, I'm now in the Palindome...figured out the "get the four items and put 'em on the shelves" thing...now gotta find this dude, Mr Alarm. There's no hint as to where I'm supposed to find him, so I'm just gonna carry on hunting in the 'Dome till something turns up. I'm getting some nice stat gains from it so even if it turns out I'm supposed to be looking somewhere else (it mentions Mr Alarm is a lab technician which made me think of Cobb's Knob...), at least it's not been a total waste of time since a couple of adventures are giving me 100+ to stats :D.

Aha, yeah, there kiiiiinda is with the lab assistant as a clue, but then he doens't instantly show so you are right with cobb's knob, but you need to keep checking

Oh, if you keep going in the palindme, yeah, insane stat gain in the papaya wars and sunbathing (never figured out of the suntan lotion would let you stay longer, never timed it right) but apart from getting the bits for the pagoda (which i just got, if you need more hints than tom gave) then you are done for the moment there

Oh, as long as you got some stunt nuts

Mr Alarm gives you a quest, and I just lucked goign to the right place to get most of the stuff, since my first guess was wrong!

Right, a brave new morning, let's see if I can create insane cocktails, or just new ones with the same stats

Oh, and by default I now get 54 adventures a day :D Yeah to the calender, pagoda and self help books! Hmm, somehting's not right, there must be one other item...aha! mead maid too! There we go

Edit: Woohoo! Mega-cocktails! Unfotrunately I think that the upgradd versions don't mix the same as normal versions

For example, boxed wine + strawberrey goes to strawberrey wine, plus shell goes to pink pony, but with champagne plus raspberry, you then have to add ice

So I might need to experiment to find the right combos (and can only make 10 ingredients a day)

However, if you see anything called a prussian cathouse or a neuromancer (one in sytash already) then go drink it!

Sadly, only got one icecube today, and tested my cathouse to see you do get 18 adverntures! Woohoo!
