Game linked to me by a friend...

Reminiscent of the Yeti Sports game, "Flamingo Drive", only more violent...

This is a disused diamond mine in Mirny, Russia. The little things in the background are tower blocks!

Diamond mine? Jeez, looks more like the impact crater of an asteroid or meteorite!
Must've been one hell of a big diamond to fit in that hole ;).

Well, this story was on our local news today! A man at the coast was trapped for two days... in a gorse bush! He couldn't be freed from the dense bush so had to be winched out by HELICOPTER! Ha!

There's this bloke called Danny Wallace who has decided to create his own country and has done so and declared himself king of it. He is King Danny I of an as-yet-unnamed country. This country is situated errm, somewhere in the middle of London...it's his flat :). Incidentally if you've heard of Dave Gorman, this is the bloke he made the bets with to find all the Dave Gormans and do the Googlewhack thing and all that.
Anyway Danny has made a website to promote his country and to get people to sign up as citizens and stuff but I thought it might be one of those weird things that some chaps here might want to read about ;). The web address is citizensrequired.com and it's a laugh :). Watch his National Anthem (need RealPlayer), it's great :D.

Yes I know about "Join Me" too...he made a song about it ("Join me! Join Danny! Join me!" etc)...my friend loves this stuff too, she joined Danny and is a citizen of his as-yet-unnamed country. She has Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure on DVD. I've only seen the first episode of the Dave Gorman Collection and about half of his Very Important Astrological Experiment :(.

For those who like the Lone Wolf, Sorcery, or simular game books,
The Underdogs has released a new series of books for the
Fabled Lands at http://www.the-underdogs.org/showbook.php?id=33.

The site rates these very highly.

Agreed that Dave Gorman is very funny! I remember watching the original Dave Gorman Collection and thought it was hillarious. The whole concept of MPDGs was inspired. Incidently, the book ("Are you Dave Gorman") of it is also great - well worth a read. I also then went to see the Googlewack Adventure live - although it wasn't as good, it was still well worth it.

The Very Important Astrological Experiment was a bit random, but had it's moments too.

Just ordered the book, so as long as Amazon doesn't decide to be out of stock suddenly, should get to read through it soon enough : )

I think everybody here should have his own "theme music", like boxers or wrestlers or so... I suggest using the song "Pure Evil" by Iced Earth for Zyx.

I sorta liked it for its quite obvious falsity. It couldn't be true.. I think... Not something I am going to try though! I take my hat off to the person who made it, very well done.

Of course it's fake. Consider this as a cartoon, Sera. A skull cannot explode due to a small air pression!

I prefered Paul's fake dog, though.
