I have loads of Stunt Nuts. Not seen any immediate use for 'em though. And what is this Pagoda of which you speak? I haven't found one of those yet.
And guessing I shoud be hunting in the Cobb's Knob Laboratory for Mr Alarm, I'll give that a go next chance I get :D.
Oh, and suntan lotion has nothing to do with the Sunbathing adventure - it drops in plenty of other places than that 'cause I've had it drop before - it just gives you a minor Moxie boost, that's all.

I wondered if they combined, since at the moment both other adventures give you sunburn

Hmm, unless you can do somehtign to the suntan lotion to augment it, so it gives you a temp effect that...

The pagoda was mentioned by Tom, it's just a campsite item in the end, but it takes a little bit of getting - some of the items that drop in the palindrome will be of use for it - if you have gotten a raffle ticket, guitar pick, drab sonata and kept your ketchup hound then you can get one of your own.

Some of the thigns you have to do struck me as a little obscure though!

I had a Ketchup Hound but I had to use it at the shelf bit. I've just found Mr Alarm and now I gotta find a Bird Rid and some Lion Oil...back to the Palindome, methinks...

Nope, not the palindrome... thouh you might get another hound and ticket, etc for the pagoda

Can you remember any quest where you have encountered a lion?

I thought the menagerie to start with, sicne three items three levels, but no.

Goodness knows why I thought the place I did - but I was right! For two of the items...the third being the stunt nuts which are from the palindrome

And I still don't knwo the solution to that puzzle in the diary with the arcane symbols - don't beleive it's anythign mroe than a side quest, but it's annoying, the hints don't hint enough!

Umm...yeah I probably have met a lion somewhere...can't remember off the top of my head but I'll have a look around. Dunno about the bird rib then...think there's various types of birds in several zones :P.

The bird rib is actually in the same area as the lion

You actually find the bird rib in the same way you find the blackbird items in the black forest. It's almost identical infact, but in another way entirely the opposite :D

Ah. The opposite of black, eh? Right...I'll get onto that, then...yes, now thinking about it, I seem to recall seeing a White Lion...ooh let me just put out that lightbulb that's flashing above my head...

Woo, Dr Awkward was a wimp :D. Now I have the staff, I checked in the diary what I'm actually supposed to use it for and now I've fonud myself wandering round in the desert having various hallucinations and stuff. Well, I found an oasis but I kinda got ganked by the first mob I came across. Bastard. Anyway, I'm out of adventures for now so I probably won't get much of a chance to have another go at it till the weekend. Oh well.

lOL, INCASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, EVERY FIVE ADVENTURES YOU GET SUPERHYDRATED

WONDER WHAT THAT'S USEFUL FOR :d

bah, stupid caps lock, can't be bothered re-typign that!

Yeah, a combination of the two and you should be able to solve everythign the desert shove at you

Keep all the sand, use five handfuls to make a brick, and then take the ten out of the stash and tell me idf you can make anything cool out of them!

Alos, I have not got enough duck tape (only seven) to make anything cool - Tom, you have any?

All the adventures I had in the desert were non-combat ones, usually resulting in some kind of multi-adventure effect relating to hallucinations or going a bit loopy or whatever. When I found the Oasis, the first adventure I had a drink, the second adventure I got whooped so I went back to the desert and fought a Plaque of Locusts...then it was back to the hallucinations again so I think the drink thing wore off, if that's what did it (spent three adventures sleeping in camp due to gankage).
So I need to survive in the Oasis long enough to have another drink and then go back to the desert? Okay I'll bear that in mind...hopefully I'll find the pyramid thing soon so I can finish this MacGuffin quest :D.

The oasis always gives you water when you need it - for five adventures (I switched my familiar and effect panes around using the account control for that adventure to see when)

So first adventure there when you have no water is water, then you can go into the dry desert wotjoput getting spanked

However, the desert stuff for your quest usually sends you to the oasis anyway for an item, so you might wanna buff up somewhere then

I don't need items in the desert (as far as I know) - I just gotta find the lost pyramid or whatever it is so I can put the staff there and umm...do whatever it was...ohh yeah, it'll show me where to find the Holy MacGuffin...or the MacGuffin itself is in the pyramid and I use the staff to open the door...can't remember but anyway I gotta find the pyramid first :D.

Duct tape can't be traded, but I only found one anyway. If you complete the farm as an orc, you get special lager, which you can then mix with whiskey to make boilermakers. I dropped a couple into the stash for you guys. Should be able to make more in the future.

And darn, I tried to be careful, but as it was warned in hints it is really hard to get to the standoff place with the war - i even had a flaregun! :(

Soo, the question is, hippy or frat boy? Who gives the coolestr gift? (I wanted the wossname too, it sounded really good as a replacement for my badass belt, since who needs mysticality, really!

Had to drink all my lager for adventures, but I can make more tomorrow. That flyer quest really set me back, but I am now one tier away from completing the war.

More insane burritos and gnat lasagna.

Woohoo! It sometimes gets repetitive to do parts zyx, but it's usually always rewarding for the references and some of the puzzles

If you reach level three, ocme join the guild :D

Oh, I found a 'cheat' way to finish the quest Tom - if you can find the man made of bees, then you can copmplete the flyer quest in one hit

I put some gnat stuff and...hmm, somehting else..into the stash

also, stillputing in prussian cathouses and ...umm..will start putting in tangitas too

Watch yourself with the war Tom, unless you are really careful it's easy to not leave one person aliove on each side - i went from the bfied30.gif to bfield32.gif (end of war) on the fratboy side with one attack - the RNG obviously killed off a few more people around cause I had given the hippies help on their side :(

Was being so careful too, checking each adventure!

I'm keeping a running total of the number of orcs/hippies I kill. I have one more wave to go, which I will finish tomorrow. Then we'll see if all my hard number-crunching has paid off. I did know about the man made of bees but couldn't be bothered to summon him. It was probably quicker just stamping flyers on constellations and mummies. (Killed two birds with that one, since I had a high-level bounty going, and the stat gains weren't bad. Put me up to level 17.)

If you mess up the war thing (or indeed, any quest) and it doesn't go the way you want it to, bear in mind you can always complete it a different way in future Ascensions...

We have a new member! Welcome to the clan :D.

What rank and title name do you want? I've give you the same permissions Wuffy and Tom have so you can have free access to the stash and stuff :).

Hey, don't forget the power of noodles and MSG! If you see anything tagged lasagna, lo mein, hi mein, chow mein, or wonton . . . dig in. (Actually, I'm keeping the sausage wonton for myself. That stuff is a pain to make.) I've got a couple super items I'm waiting to make after I finish the war.

Which, by the way, I am very pleased to announce, I have just accomplished. Behold, the wossname. I stashed a boildermaker for each of you to celebrate; go to town! Now, shall I sell it and dump the 15,000 meat into the stash?

LOL, it's such a pain to get with such nice bonuses, I reckon you hold onto it!

Well done man, was that painstakingly killign them all unaided without doign the sidequests, or did you do the maths as suggested in soem spoiler sites?

And yeah, I keep nickign the odd lasagna, mein etc - try to keep soem reasonable numbers for Ameena and yourself, and now zyx!

Similarly with the cocktails, I try to dump the lion's share into the stash, btu occasionally pilfer them back myself :D

I've taken a few of your drinks out of the stash, Wuffy, but not yet actually yoinked any of the food Tom makes...mainly 'cause I have a load of (various crappy) food already, but was totally out of booze...
What's the stats on that Wossname then? I'm still doing the MacGuffin quest atm...looking for the errm...pages of a different worm-riding book to the previous one now I think, lol.

I never take my own food out of the stash, except for a few burritos that you guys had started. (I drop in more now and then to make up for it.) If something is particularly hard to make and I had to really work for the ingredients, I'll keep it for myself. In general, food doesn't cost all that much to make, 1000 if all I need is MSG. That's why I've been nudging you guys to pass ingredients my way. I've got a pretty good stock for MSG even after dumping 50K into the stash. The noodles I conjure for free — it's a pastamancer thing. Anyway, tear into it before it spoils.

I did the 65-65-67-67 approach for both sides, which means I had to count. I did hashes on paper, but I also counted down from my total adventures to double-check. Egad. I actually had a dream last night that I screwed up the final run and missed out on it! I think I'm gonna need a break after all this tension. Hunting ducks is a good past-time. I am now up to two duct tapes. Bleh.

Dropped some knob sausage chow mein in the stash, by the way. That stuff is mm-mm good, up to 29 adventures. It's fairly easy to make, too, as most of the ingredients are low-level common drops. If you find any sausage, chuck it my way and I'll throw together more.

Beo, if you ever need alcohol, I can make anything but tequila for virtually free, thanks to the island war. I've been mixing my own cheaper drinks lately, along with the occasional boilermaker, but I did notice you put some nifty things into the stash. Had to try a neuromancer!

Wossname gives +11 to all attributes, +11% item/meat drops. It's not quite as good as a Mr. Accessory, unless you're farming cash.

Lol, I went the other way not knowing about the alcohol drop (actually, not knowing to start that the battlfield thins to let you then do the opposing side's quest) so had done all the side quests first. Anyway, I may call on you in future, but for the moment I have tons of alcohol from various places and also from that initial drop you gave me :D

And I still say that the extra spicy bloody mary is the best on your own drink you can make, while the insanely spicey burrito or lhic eye pie is the best conventional food

And for 29 adventures, I will try that! Or, maybe leave it to ameena since she's goign to start a war soon!

I actually monitored the .gif files to see where everyone was at, the battlefield thins to 32.gif...but one fratboy attack went from 30.gif to 32.gif with one attack, so missed it :( Oh well, another life!
