Hmm, more clues, eh? Let me think of something...okay, the person who says that line has just inadvertently scared the crap out of some guy who was about to batter him to death with a stick - that guy ran away and then the character says the line to someone else who comes over right after that.

Sorry, Ameena, still no idea.

And now my one liner - let's go sentimental a bit: "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."

Here's another quote from the same character (but from a different scene).

"I would gladly be a mealy worm!"

"I'll get you my pretty" sounds like The Wizard of Oz, but it's such a long time since i saw it... I'm not sure!

Ah... I wouldn't have got it from that one. Just the "my pretty" quote that rung a bell.

"Only one man in a million can survive that fall. The guy is fish food!" -- "Fine. Go get a cane pole and catch the fish that ate him!"

My quote was by Diaval, from Maleficent.

Jan, your quote seems familiar but I can't place it. It's either from a film I've seen once a long time ago, a film I've seen a bit of a long time ago, or I haven't actually seen it at all and it just vaguely resembles something I have seen :D.

Would more clues help? What about this: "I didn't kill my wife!"

Haven't seen Maleficent, so never would have got it.

Didn't get anything from Jan's first quote, but from the second i think it's The Fugitive.... and now that i think about it, i remember the part the first quote comes from without remembering the quote itself (jumping from the dam?)

Would this help? "Not on your best day, pal. You're nothing but a chickenshit weasel who thrives on the misery of others. And when death calls, you'll be screaming like a baby." :)

Well, I haven't even heard of that one, lol. I don't seem to be very good at these...and I can never seem to think of any good quotes either. Hrmm...well, I'll think of another one at some point :D.

Ahh.... I have seen it, but never would have got it from the quote.
I'd agree that it is utterly awful.

I'll proffer one...
"I've had better food at the ballgame, you know? This steak still has marks from where the jockey was hitting it."
