Bit is correct about mine . I've played TA Kingdoms, some years back. I didn't know at the time that there was a more modern/techy version of the game that had come first, I just played that one and enjoyed it. Played through the single player campaign all the way till the final level (I think there were 50) and then I think I kind of got stuck 'cause it was really hard. Good game, though .
How about this one?

One more picture from my game - it's a less known game on a very well known motive, you will reveal this motive if you study the image from the right perspective.
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!
Saumun got mine . I don't recognise Jan's but the character portraits look a bit like people out of Spoiler
Lord of the Rings (the first looks like maybe Aragorn or Boromir or someone while the second looks like a hobbit, which makes me think the brown blobs with paths leading up to them are hobbit holes. Also the "Exit" button in the bottom right looks likt eh door of a hobbit hole. And the sword icon is glowing blue like an elvish sword
.
Got another one for you...

Good thinking, you're right! It's Interplay's 1992 Spoiler
J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. II: The Two Towers

A new one - recognise game and the exact spot!

Ameena - I remember seeing a game with similar style cinematic characters, but it was horror based so i don't think it's that (can't remember the name anyway)
Jan - Don't recognise that one, and of course you're right with Spoiler
Pool of Radiance

I remember I played a LOTR-game too, but wasn't Jan's one.
It was a cruel mix of real-time-strategy and adventuring - and the full story in one.
I remember a map screen with cities, but can't say anymore how battleing happened.
In the end it was okay, but not that exciting.
on Level 30, the final level, Icon of Sin, on the ledge opposite the big boss who has John Romero's head on a stake behind it, through the little hole at the top
.
Saumun, from the sounds of it you may indeed be thinking of the correct game so have a guess anyway .

Ahh okay, no it wasn't called that. You may have been thinking of Spoiler
Phantasmagoria
? My parents player that one but I think they declared it too scary for myself or my sister so we never played it. Here's another piccy for you from the same game...
There are a couple of more "obvious" pics I will post up next if everyone still has no idea .
