Mr Quilp,
I thought I killed him in his technogoblin machine thing, that door didn't open but I will go back there and have another look. Then revisit the whirpool hall, is that in Sivis or Rainbow mines?

Mechagoblin was driven by a simple goblin. In fact you met Mr Quilp once you defeated the Mechagoblin: do you remember the ambush out of the rainbow mines?

I am back at the
rainbow mines, in front of Mr Quilp's security chamber, the door is closed. There is a chest with tons of coins, and an alcove in there, must be the spell, but that door is closed. There is a table behind me and two teleporters in the room

Chaos, I rewrite:
- the spell is in
the dungeon of Sivis
- you can enter
the security chamber once Mr Quilp is defeated, that means "later"

Back at the dungeon of
Sivis, there is a pad and a door behind some whirlpools. Neither fish nor those other sea creatures when pressing the green button activate it. The door closes to fast for me to get in there or put them to sleep. I have a master key but no door yet. How do I activate that pad? it is surrounded by purple blocks

In Sivis
I think I have found 5 of the oysters presents, can't find a lead to follow, have a master key but no door in Sivis that has a keyhole, ... lost..., I guess is the best word
just don't know where to go next, I need to save the damsel in distress.

If you say didn't see any
master keyhole in Sivis, I presume you've found only 4 pearls and you didn't open the grate in the main room beyond which there is a pufferfish sleeping on a pad.

??? you got me at a relaxed state, grate as in floor? or door bars?
4 or 5 pearls, I didn't get much chance to fool with it today, but think it is 5, need 9, lost my direction

puffer fish on a pad, i do remember that bit, naturally not a cold blooded killer

I have a habit of walking past the obvious... but I am in need of help again!
I have just completed the cloud castle and got the harp, the third instrument I have found. I jumped down the bottomless pit and found some armour - but I am not sure where to go now. I have read the machine dream book.

yeah, there is an amber wall in a pit, stairs lead down but I can't destroy the wall to climb down to get at that alcove. I tried twister spell but it only sends objects against the wall and not the amber wall, I was thinking on getting the dragon egg, have him fly over the pit and wall, freeze him there and then destroy the dragon, not sure if that's what I should do.

Thank you, found it! However I am stuck again....
I am in the gingerbread dream. I have 5 coins, but I can see a 6th near a barrel but I get teleported away. Same for the bota - I accidentally threw it and it seems to have landed in an inaccessible spot. I can't figure out what the faerie wants, certainly not the unicorn horn this time.

The coin is to test your nerves, look at the map and mark the boundary and look at where that sneaky coin is, it's to piss you off.
Be careful about throwing objects that land in places you can't reach. If you do, replay it.

Thank you, I have managed to complete this area, and have got the potion. How do I get in the rainbow mines ? It must be across that stretch of water. Or sivis? I am finding it a bit difficult to follow.

You'll find a book, then you'll find
a group of miners of some sort that will build the bridge over the water when you read that book and be teleported there, can't remember where the book was found

might I ask for some directions in the Sleepy Hollow?
I found three RA keys, but actually have no idea where to go next. I appear to need some lanterns in the hollow, and also in the room above the hollow as well. I never found any locks for the keys...

In the RTC directory, open the config.txt file, in there at the very bottom, put the line in:
FULLSCREEN (press tab button once) then type YES
looks something like this:
BOOTTEXT YES
FRAMERATE NO
FULLSCREEN YES
Then save. This dungeon is awesome
