Where exactly do you have to be to complete the future machine?

I got those two records back, but i can't see anyway to get the others i don't have though.....maybe i need more detailed maps. As for the rest of the game, i have been doing the four ways and got stuck on Ros, and i'm sure i haven't done everything else, if all available space was used there should be more to the dungeon in those lower levels, but after running around the dungoen from top to bottom several times i can't seem to find anything new. One more Emerald or Onyx key......

The future quest: completed just right after stepping into the teleporter.

That means my game went 5 moves over, 4 extra squares foward and opening the switch door.

Amazing new records: Antman broke twice the future record! He also managed an incredible 336 moves for the precious. But meanwhile, Charlatan went under the two digits bar, with 93 moves for the lich (a boring record to watch, though!). And he broke another record: 288 moves for the dwarven treasure.
So in the end, the record scores are pretty much the same...

3 new records by Charlatan75!
Crown of Kings in 900 moves, the future in 407 moves, the precious in 291 moves.

No problem with how the records are managed. It's not about speed but craft - and that includes using all the options you can think of, including the game speed. (Answer to a post by Zyx some way up, so don't get confused  )

Just about to send off a new minimal moves record for the fiery cerberus: 1549 moves. It's possible to do it in a lot fewer moves than this, but I didn't want to sit around for hours working it out, and I simply wanted to break my record, so that there's more of an incentive for others to go for it. Have fun!

Nice record, Gambit! Definitely breakable, though.

Aaargghhh -- totally not fair! I just downloaded version 0.j and thought I'd try and better my record. But you've changed a whole load of stuff around! :x :x

This really isn't a good idea in the middle of a competition! It's like moving the goalposts (literally) in the middle of the world cup!

I suggest that anyone who wants to try and beat any of the records, use an earlier version of the dungeon, or better still, make sure you're using the same version as everyone else who's competing. I used version 0.h for the minimal moves records.

Your easy sucesses are my mistakes. From which I learn!

The competition is meant with version 0.i.

Heh heh -- OK! Your dungeon was devious enough without you making it even harder!!!! ;)
