Never used IRCs and never had strong wine. Had port once though and that's REALLY strong wine. Potent stuff, is port as I found out. Our Uni doesn't have wine but it does have a really cheap bar - either way you get drunk so matter does it not, although I'm not one for heavy drinking...

They're a bit like a maze - once you're in, you can't find your way out so you're coaxed into buying more alcohol and before you know it, you're fast asleep on the comfy sofas (and that's only after going in for a quick bite to eat for lunch between lectures indeed.)

Oh right. Well, I am not too fond of chat rooms. Everybody is talking at the same time and you never know's question to answer and if they actually take notice because by the time you typed your response, the others are already a mile down the road again.

I used to have my messenger open for some peeps to chat with but nowadays I leave it closed. Am not that interested in it anymore.
I rather talk on message boards. LOL

FlashChat looks pretty nice, and damn cheap too. I like the fact that it can be integrated with the forum software and can use the existing database for usernames/passwords so that you don't have to register again to use it (though that could be worrying too from a security point of view).

It also supports multilanguages, including Klingon!

I would be happy to install it, but we would really need to upgrade the forum software if we want the integration. Maybe the upgrade -- that I keep putting off -- should now be done as a matter of course?
