you need to read it with emphasis. "Nothing that *could* offend, *can* offend." It's a paradoxical oxymoron.

Like you, Beo.

I'm an oxymoron? *blinks* How's that? lol

by beowuuf
Sorry, Suule saved you, it was 'offend you offend.' but he managed to change it to can, so it's all good

Except for the fact you still have a full stop when the sentence still runs : )

And lol, you know I'm taking that as a rank!

Taking what? Wuuf Monster?

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:08 pm
by Gambit37
You need to edit "toward", Ameena.

by Ameena
I do? Bugger okay I'll go check now...

by beowuuf
Hmm, will 'Paradoxical Oxymorinic Wuff Monster' fit as a rank?

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:12 pm
by Ameena
Wuff or Wuuf? And it should surely be "Oxymoronic", not "Oxymorinic"?

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:14 pm
by beowuuf
IT'S MY RANK DAMMIT! I may, just may, have a small, tiny, minute problem with my spelling at times ; )

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:16 pm
by Ameena
And your grammar ;).

Ooh are we turning Yoda-ish again? Hey didn't that happen in the last Christmas story thread, I can't remember...hmm I think I will start calling it "CST" rather than typing that out every time.

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:21 pm
by beowuuf
You'll need LCST and TCST (last and this)

And lol, yes, there is even a quote from cows to that effect!

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:23 pm
by Ameena
Hmm well as long as we don't confuse the CST with the Atari ST or the EQ expression "PST", or the time zones EST, CST, and umm whatever else there is with "ST" in it.

Appendice? Do you mean "Appendix" or "Apprentice", JCG?

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:24 pm
by Ameena
Or "appendage", perhaps...

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:25 pm
by Gambit37
Leave "dangled mis-spelled" alone, and don't edit appendice. It's now great! See, this is what makes things funny and interesting. Sometimes you need to quickly edit, othertimes you need to wait a few beats to see what's happened and then maybe decide *not* to edit. It's very mind-bending!

Indeedy! Though I wonder if 'splotted' will survive : )

by Ameena
Splat, splot, splurt, it's all great :D.
And bum pooh bollocks, now I am being kicked off...oh well at least there will be some posts for me to read when I get back on hehe.
Oh and cheers for the title change Wuffy ;).

Splotted has survived, but splattered took an early bath.

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:33 pm
by beowuuf
Lol, I broke my own rule and changed splotted to splottedly a second before you edited..then had to edit it back

This is why we have rules!

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:34 pm
by Gambit37
Yes, but remember when to break them. And when not to. And when to break them, then change your mind and play by the rules, then break *those* new rules, and eventually run off screaming naked into the dark.

Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:40 pm
by beowuuf
I believe that is exactly how this thread will end...everyone just running naked into the dark, ducking to avoid Syra's flappy appendages!

What's on second, i don't know is on third

"We, elegant all know-ing partygoers, (have) shall need decided Yoda "
Lol, need decided being deleted would work...
