I have only found the
ful rune
how many have you found? I need fire! I don't know where to go to

or find
pyro and sand

Chaos your about the same as me. I have just killed the Spectre and he has
dropped the sythe
. Now i may be wrong but i think the sythe
could be used to cut through a hedge
trouble is which one. I could be wrong. I too havent found the
fire, key or anything
. Stewy doesnt seem to be forthcoming with even the smallest of hints. I have the
ful rune

we're on the same page then masta. i'll start hacking at everything that looks like a passage. I can see other guards and monsters through those trees so maybe i'll start to swing there. I am worried about running out of torches, it's dark and dangerous out there.

what characters did you grab to use?

I have 2 top fighters, the top wizard and an apprentice wizard. I am sure we are missing some absolutely obvious things. I think it has got to be a
hedge to hack through to open up another area.
keep updating here and i will do the same if and when i find something new.

I just hacked at the
entire perimeter
, not a thing. maybe we need to use the
scepters power on some spot, not sure.
I will look through inventory. did you find out what the mushrooms are for?
I chose the characters Ivan, Pulma, Seth and Saphire.
I tried to kill one of those
brownish red trees but couldn't, maybe we should try killing the apple tree as well

Think the mushrooms are
for eating
. However
be careful as some are poison
. Make a note of which ones do what.

yeah, I ate them and found out already, how about the
digger pops, it is consumable but when in hand it has no eat, it seems special
did you figure out how to open the other door in the hall of champions?

have you figured out what the black poles are in the champion rooms? never mind I figured it out...

go back there and check it out

Will have a look at the digger pops. The door
has light on but if you wait they do go off, just wonder if its possible to open when lights off
. Other thing is
the cage, says it can be put in fire.

No idea about the black poles. If you have the rope maybe go back and try to climb down.

Some hints
1. If you have found the chosen ones, it will help you out on burnt out things, not to shocking
2. If you have released the poor souls should shed some light
3. No shrubs are hackable on this level.
4. Excuse the spelling
I will say it again, the first few levels are not perfect. once you get up on the castle roof you will see what I mean.
But bear with it because it get better. I also thought I made it to easy. I was mistaken. Thanks again for the comments
and I will help out every way I can, and keep a lookout for my friend Rocky

I can't find that cross key, I found the chosen ones, ahhh you mean it works on the
storm ring
I hacked almost everything already. I have light finally

this is a well made dungeon. I had a couple of crashes but it was not a big deal, I save often. off to fix the ring and check out the ghost specter.

Now I'm cooking on gas. If you think things were difficult wait until you get past the gate. Presume you have done the following:
got the flame from the grate by putting the cage in the fire
charge up the ring in the room of champions
go to the tree with the bodies and throw the cage with the flame at it
put the ring in a wizards right hand and you can see a spell under punch
use this spell on the tree to kill it
when you have killed the tree you will find the Cross key and another rune
Now you can help me. You say you can make light but even though i have the right runes when i make up the spell nothing happens. Perhaps you can enlighten me (sorry).

getting back to it today,
found stairs down that are blocked in the cemetery
headed back out the cemetery, those
ghost hounds are brutal
didn't find a grave that needs repairing yet
,
found the castles map
there is so much in this dungeon, amazing work stewy. how long did you say this took to make? you seem to have changed everything that can be changed, stunning man, absolutely stunning!

oh, I had a TV like that stewy

what puzzles me right now is why there are not that many playing this well executed designed piece of work that makes DM such a great game. it must be lack of time. to those who have not tried it out I think you'll love it.
the sound effects in the graveyard had me going right away, my spouse yelled out to me and said, "what the hell are you playing" I hear a
baby, oh and the ghosts sounds were stellar
i played for 5 hours yesterday it was so fun.
my only negative remark is the restart error, takes a bit of time to restart the thing up since it is over 60 meg. do you know why that crash happens, is this a bug with RTC? never the less it really doesn't matter because this game keeps the player wanting to come back. i can't wait to start today.

masta, did you figure out how to
heal wounds?
Re: SOTF
Posted: Wed Mar 19, 2014 8:48 pm
by the master
Got this from stewy so cant take the credit. Think this applies to poison not healing though.
what makes you sick makes you better
in other words
if you eat a poison mushroom eat another to cure yourself
. I have now found the grave that needs repairing
look for the grave with the blue flower and then hit it with something, be careful though there is something nasty waiting for you
. Have you
dropped down the pits yet
.

wow, what a game. I have dropped down a lot of pits. have two flasks and 5 runes, need the vi rune. earned the delta sword, a bunch of new weapons, stairs leading down, maybe a sword can break that which blocks it. max damage with cleave axe is 98. Ivan is now a wizard. I would say this dungeon was well thought out. there is a difficult pit puzzle, it has a rune in it, I don't need it right now but I spent at least an hour trying to get out with every item I had. the riddle is
poke and grab
. I love the bone head soup, mmmm. the sound effects of the cemetery is what I'd expect from a top quality job at being scary. the pit with the
spider gives an awesome reward
I spent another 5 hours playing this game today, what a joy

yes stewy, it was a big ghost. love all the new monsters. i have a second level master wizard seth, needs more mana though.
i am stuck
can't open a door for gold key or master key on roof top
where should i go to find it. killed everything i ran into. is there a place that still needs to use the grapple?
masta, where are you at?
