The soldier stiffens and holds the dagger so that it draws a bead of blood at Aurek's approach and words. Helm visibly shakes at the effort of being made to stand upright.

"Drommal was right, you are a fake! Stay back! Why do you even care over this matter?" The continued words of passive threat yet reassureance, perhaps backed up by the impressive Haynuus actually relinquishing his weapon, seems to allow for the solider to stop actively diggging the dagger into Helm and relax a moment.

"I would not go with you, your fate will be assured in blood." He looks speculatively at the four of them, perhaps encouraged by the half-orc's apparent show of weakness. "Move back, all of you, to the door and I will let the thief go."

Falkor's words seem to register and the solder half looks back and talks to himself out loud. "'Avoid the kings' said Drommal. Perhaps I won't. The Mound of the Kings leads out too, if you know the way." He looks back to the group. "Get back to the door, and I will let your friend go," says Marhman. There is a tone that wasn't in his voice before. Had he been lying before, or this time? To Haynuus's ears, the man seemed to have a little more hope than before.

"Wait, the Mound of the Kings? That was where I was trying to gain access!" said Farel, having to hold himself back from running. "Take me instead of the man you hold! I will go as a willing prisoner. If my squire goes free, he would have been left alone there!"

"Bah, you chase after me to kill me then offer to let me join you and now you wish to join me?" Marhman says in scorn, holding the dagger tighter to Helm's throat again. "Back away! Your lies of your lost squire wear thin!"

Meanwhile, the distraction and ranting of the soldier seemed to bring a danger that Haynuus had noticed earlier to do with Helm - one he had not had the inclination or opportunity to mention to the rest - a step closer to being realised.

If anyone else wants to try a perception check around about now, that might be an idea. Alternatively, you can try a sense motive on the solider Marhman to see what affect you guys are realy having here.

Haynuus had seen that Helm was fit to drop. Literally on his last legs. He also saw that the thief had once more a trick up his sleeve. Best that the thief didn't try anything however as the half-orc's night vision had shown he'd lost a lot of blood. There was no time.

Haynuus in desperation advanced with his arms in the air, leaving his weapon behind propped up at the doorway. Not only was he now defenceless but he too was suffering greatly from his wounds.

"Please. Everyone draw back with me. Helm really is dieing on his feet." And with desperation in his voice. "Leave him there, soldier. And we will tend to our wounded while you make your way out of this madness... A madness that I assure you we will try to finish. That's what you want isn't it?"

He beckoned to the knight to come over, "We will join you to find your charge, I promise. Wherever your squire is." Haynuus suspected that the soldiers were more intimidated by a potentially irrational Farel with an expert sword arm than the diminuitive wizard or the rest of the fighters.

Ameena looks from Westian to the woman-shape and rock-creature, and back again. She catches the whiff of magic in the air, as she did with the troll-creatures before - maybe the rock-creature is going to disappear too. It seems that the woman-shape is worried about something like that, anyway. She wonders if there's anything she can do about it, or whether she should just walk away and talk to Westian as he requested. But the woman-shape might disappear at any moment - she might know things about this place...
"Yes, I think I'd like to talk," she says to Westian, "but not just yet..."
She then looks toward the strange, glowing woman-shape.
"Hello." she tries. "I was wondering...who are you, and do you know of a way out of here?"
Normally she wouldn't just plunge straight into such questions so abruptly, but she knows that the woman-shape might just vanish as she did before. If any useful information can be obtained, she might as well try to obtain it.

Again, there was the odd sensation that the spirit was both talking to Ameena and not talking to Ameena, as if Ameena herself were stealing thoughts from the spirit. The spirit seemed ot be speaking and yet the sight of the spirit's mouth seemed to be a little brain twisting - the mouth both moved and did not move.

"I showed him the way.
I showed him my skill.
The fault was not his.
He carries the ill."

The spirit then did turn to Ameena. "She is leaving," says the girl, "I can see her now, but soon I won't." The spirit stops the inneffective motions to sooth the rock monster, and instead gets on her knees to be level with the Murafu. "Can you tell me where she's going to go? Is that how I should leave? I can't leave... I don't think I can leave... we can't leave...we'll never be able to leave... we shouldn't leave...

The spirit's boice is trailing to mumbling nonsense, and she seems to be lost inside her own thoughts, and her gaze softens as if her sight turning inwards. However, it is as if Ameena's thoughts are also getting pulled into the spirit's aswell, those soft eyes deep pools she oculd drown in...

I know you like your dice so much, can you roll them twice for me, please? One a will save, and the other a fortitude save!

Aurek slowly backs away from the soldier, moving back the way he came. As he moves past Farel, "Come on, Farel. If this is going to be settled peacefully, we need to listen to his request. I'll happily help you after this, but we need to make a tactical retreat. Only then, will this one possibly be safe..." motioning towards Helm.

Westian had been eager to get away from the spirit and what he was assuming was an injured rock monster. Not only did he have concerns about Helm, but also the prospect of more in-depth, and possibly life-threatening, conversation with the ghost girl was not something he relished. The unnaturalness of the spirit disturbed him. Unlike the mummy she was not a creature of evil, but even so she clearly did not belong on this plane. There were people in his order who specialised in putting the dead to rest, but Westian was not one of those. The best he could do was offer a simple prayer to try to ease her obvious pain.

He knelt down and began to speak in a soft voice. “Lord Larethian, this child is suffering, for reasons I do not know. But even if she is guilty of some crime this punishment is vile, and must be abhorrent to your eyes. Grant her some measure of peace, and when the time is right guide her to where she belongs. Your name be praised forever”. Standing up he examined the spirit more closely, but said nothing else.

Falkor moved back slowly - he had already shown his willingness to let them go - but the fact they could have run but had choose to stay made him more suspictios... something was not right...

The soldier tensed as Haynuus came forward. However the fact the group started to pull back on his word, including the half-orc himself, went a long way to ease the man. Again, the reassurance combined with implied threat seemed to make the soldier happier to leave, and again his grip on Helm lessened as he watched the group draw back.

Farel stiffened at first, not listening to the half-orc's words to him, but Aurek's petitions broke through his determination, and he let out a breath. "You are right, Aurek, I have almot made the same mistake again, putting an innocent in danger because of my blindness. I thank you, friend." The knight ensured he moved back with haste, nodding to the soldier despite whatever internal turmoil was in in.

Falkor moved back too, but his suspicions were raised and he saw nothing to alleviate them. Perhaps Helm picked up on this through the haze of his injuries. For seeing the party pull back, yet feeling his captor's grip loosen, Helm tried to get out of the soldier's grip while raising the dagger that Haynuus had spotted the thief manipulating.

Helm had no strength though, and the dagger did not even get close to the soldier before the thief groaned in pain and an aggrivated wound. Marhman flinched, suspecting a trap. The thief fell to the ground from a rough shove by Marhman, the man confused and angry. The soldier took one quick look to the groaning and unmoving thief then the party and before he turned and ran.

Heh, sorry money, I think Helm was ready to attack anyway without you bad sense motive roll, it just seemed a nice tough to have you tip the balance. It was always going to be tricky because of the delays to balance all three NPCs conflicting intentions, I think you neutralised Marhman and Farel well enough that Helm doing something stupid will be recoverable. Anyway, you have a running enemy and a man down - what do you do?

Edit: Oops, who left a copy of Haynuus's actions there!

"Let them go" said Haynuus.

He sprinted to retrieve his sword, grabbed a lit torch from the floor in the room, and ran to Helm's aid. Throwing the torch on the floor by the thief, and watching it by the corner of his eye roll into a pool of his blood, the half-orc attempted to stabilise the thief with whatever healing aid he could. "Agreed" replied Falkor, this was no time to start another battle and they were yet to find Westien and Ameena... Falkor walked over to the failing Helm.. "Take it easy, we will get you out of this", although his words were more of a reassurance to himself that things would be ok rather then the belief that without the mage there was much they could do..

Falkor concentrated for a moment and tried to conjur some magic to heal the wounds (1d20 = 3)

Ameena feels a surge of dizziness as the woman-shape looks into her. Or maybe it's she who's looking into the woman-shape? Whatever the case, the murafu can hardly bear it, and the pain in her paw is getting worse, having now spread mostly over her hind leg.
She finally manages to tear her gaze away from that of the woman-shape, sort of totters backward a couple of steps, then accidentally puts weight on her left hindpaw again and sinks to the ground. She covers her eyes with her forepaws, trying to regain some kind of control and at the same time not risk looking at the woman-shape again.
"I..didn't want to come here." she manages to say, her voice coming out very quiet and rather shaky. "If I did something wrong...I didn't mean to...I just want..."
She scrunches her eyes closed even tighter beneath the paws covering them, having more or less forgotten, for now, the presence of Westian yet only half-addressing the woman-shape. Somewhere at the back of her mind she wonders whether this is what it feels like to lose oneself.

we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...we shouldn't leave...

The woman's words keep burrowing into Ameena's skull. There is an overwhelming sense of obligation yet need to escape, and yet there is no indication if the feeligns are coming from the spirit, or being drawn out of Ameena, or if there is a combination of the two building and bulding intolerably. Then sudden;y, the voice stopped.

Ameena, you take 1hp non-lethal damage from this. I'll have to double check, but I think you are still just barely hovering above consciousness for now. WHich is a shame, falling unconscious would be a perfect way for Westian to get you back through the teleporter and beyond, away from evil blood and death :D

Westian opened his eyes, only to find the spirit had vanished and with it the dullness of the light in this place. Had it been from his prayer, or was it because Ameena was cowering and unresponsive? And by the magical smell in the air, the rock monster must have died - was that the factor?

Westian's elvish eyes could see well enough in the dim light of the teleporter behind and around the corner that the pile of rocks had simply collapsed upon itself with a shimmer in the air. The flayling tendrils had gone. With a gentle sound of rocks and pebbles falling down together, the small pile flattened noticeably.

So there we go OB, you have an upset murafu and a pile of stones.

The ghost had disappeared. Whatever the reason for it, he could not help but feel a bit relieved. He turned to talk to Ameena, only then realising that she looked to be in very poor condition. Without being able to draw on any more mana a healing potion was out of the question. Still, he did the best he could by offering a prayer. "Lord Larethian, I call on your aid again. Please comfort this innocent creature and help her cope with the wounds she is carrying."

"Ameena, are you all right? You look like you need rest."

I'll leave Ameena to choose either 1hp recovery or +1 to her next constiution check - any further healing might require a knowledge(religeon) to petition greater aid.

Out of combat I usually give you a free use or two, in combat you will always need a knowledge roll right off. It makes the lower value healing potions and the paladin laying on of hands keep their power as greater effects :)

Ameena wants to get away from the words, from the voice, from the pain that's throbbing in her leg, her nose, and inside her mind itself. She isn't sure that the woman-shape is actually trying to hurt her, but all the same she is desperate for it to stop.
And then it does.
Suddenly, with no warning at all, the voice stops. In the sudden absence of pressure on her mind, Ameena goes limp, her forepaws dropping from her eyes to the ground each side of her head. She still has her eyes shut, and her body is shaking uncontrollably as a reaction to what's just happened. Every now and then she feels a slight spasm in her left hind leg too. All the physical pain suddenly seems amplified, having been pushed aside slightly by the more overwhelming effects of the woman-shape. Now her nose throbs, and though she blearily thinks it's probably stopped bleeding by now, that does nothing to dull the pain. As for her leg, that throbs too, with a kind of constant ache that doesn't seem to want to fade. And it keeps giving faint twitches and jolts every now and then, movements she can do nothing about.
She vaguely hears a voice nearby, coming from somewhere above her, but her mind has, for now, retreated too far inside itself for her to really notice the words or who's speaking them.
Vague thoughts run through her head. Her life hasn't always been easy, she knows that. But compared to this, all that has gone before was a paradise, she thinks. It would almost be easier to just let go, slip away, move on...At least then, everything would stop hurting.
She wants to curl up, to try and feel some sense of security that way, but can't even sum up the energy to do that. She's never felt so vulnerable, so alone...

The group gathers around Helm except for Farel. Perhaps he doens't feel connected to the man he had been trying to rescue inspite of himself, perhaps he feels excluded by those who might know the thief. Of course, there was also the possibility Farel had decided someone needed to keep watch - for he stood with his hand to his sheathed weapon and looked both back towards the teleporter room, and down the corridor further revealed by the torch.

Sorry, I really need to reveal more of the surroundings now we are out of combat, using the normal scale

While Haynuus didn't necessarily provide any lasting help, he didn't hurt Helm either. Bandages were applied in an almost professional manner, and the orc ensured the man would be comfortabkle when he - hopefully - woke up.

Neither of the two others decided to use mundane first aid to help Helm, perhaps because he was too far gone for simple bandages. Falkor tried to focus his will, hoping some deep reseviors of healing magic lay in him. However, either they did not, or the memories were buried too deep for nor, for the action did not feel correct, no matter his petitions.

Meanwhile, Aurek turned to his own divine powers that more readily answered the call to aid the fallen thief. Aurek laid his hands upon the man's chest, sensing the greatest blood was actually coming from the man's back. Holy enrgies flowed through the paladin and into Helm, and the man gasped as some of the worst damage was knitted together. Despite the envigorating power, Helm still looked pale due to the blood lost around him.

"What, who?" the thief started, before encountering the apparently restraining hand of Aurek and the accidentally restraining hand of Haynuus (Haynuus was trying to mop the thief's brow with a bloodied bandage). It was a strange twist of fate that Helm happened to focus on the halfling beside him in his moment of panic, and saw the mage finishing his

"Oh, thank you," he said to Falkor instead of Aurek, missing who had saved him. There was a pause. "You're Falkor, aren't you?" said Helm with an odd tone to his voice.

"Hush now, lad," said Farel, breaking from his sentinel duties. "You've had a narrow escape from death thanks to your friends, and you need to rest a little, I think. I can only apologise that my aid was lacking - I am afraid my personal demons put you in danger. This does not become a knight of my standing." Farel shook his head gravely.

"No, it's ok," said Helm weakly, "I recall you trying to speak on my behalf..." Helm shook his head groggily, looking around at the strange faces of Farel and Aurek. For a moment he looked at Haynuus oddly, but then gently removed the orc's hand from his head with a word of thanks - apparently remembering the odd gift of a dagger earlier and realising the half-orc may well not be looking to slit his throat.

However, Helm seemed to flinch from Falkor's touch and painfully moved a little.

"So," Helm said, looking to Auek and Farel but equally encompassing the others whom he had been captured with, "who are you all?"

Basically you guys can be a little more lax about the timing of your posts from now on, the danger has passed for you. Still try for a post a day and don't get ahead or behind anyone else. I'll post updates for the group, but might put mini-updates for questions and comments.

I know LB will be a little lighter in the game, but feel free to queue up questions and comments to him and we can play around it. Anyway, this is the promised 'free' time I was gunna give you guys for introductions and also gettign your head around what's happened. You can meta-game that nothing will instanty attack you until at least the weekend, even if you characters are rightfully paranoid :D

Ameena and Westian, nothing seems to have changed for you both, so I think just like the others you are a free to RP a little. It sounds like it's Westian's move again to coax the murafu into talking. Ameena, remember to make a save or take the restoration from Westian's prayer.

Anyway, so long story short - you guys are free to talk, and if anything happens like another save required, etc, I'll let you know. As with the others, your characters might not know if they are safe, as players feel free to endulge in some RP for the rest of the week as a break from the tension, to get your heads around what's actually happening, and to of course make introductions and share some knowledge!

Falkor looked surprised - yet again, another person knew who he was, perhaps even knew more about him then he knew of himself as some memories had not come back as well as he would have liked. He turned to Aurek and Farel - "As our man here has already stated, my name is Falkor. My memory is not what it should be but I can tell you how we arrived here..." Falkor explained all about the first encounters with the trolls and the mummy, but felt inclined to leave out the information about Gholst - it seemed the right thing to do for now.. Falkor knew knoledge was quite often power - and giving away too much could be a bad choice with complete strangers...

Falkor then turned to Helm, "So - what is it you know of me? What past of mine makes you so warey???"

Haynuus sat heavily on the floor - he was exhausted and his mind was still processing events back when they had stepped through the teleporter.

"Tired." He said, and flopped back onto the floor conveying an accentuated action that a child would do. He was happy that none of his friends had been taken away from him, relieved that despite his swinging with his big sword he'd not actually taken anyone down yet... He put his two fists into his sunken eye sockets, and remembered those who had fallen.

His own wounds seemed to open up now. As if he finally had time to appreciate them, whereas before he was running around concentrating on things more pressing. Ouch. Each one screamed to be acknowledged, and made it's presence felt to act as a reminder that trading blows with weapons is not to be one's preferred profession for long.

"Glad you're okay" he whispered to nobody. "Glad you're... Oh Ameena?" Light suddenly infused into his vision as he removed his fists from his face.

Aurek spoke to the group as he collapsed against a nearby wall, sitting upright, and removing his helmet, "Well, my name is Aurek. I'm unsure how I got into this place, as you also seem to be. I'm here on a protection mission. I'm to protect Westian, until he completes his mission."

He stood up, turning to Farel, "Farel, would you be able to help me out of this armor, and keep watch, so I can rest for a little while? I'd be more than happy to return the favour. I just need to recharge a bit..." he turned to the others in the room, "I'd suggest doing the same... while we can. I don't know when we'll be able to rest again. And, once I recharge a little, I may be able to heal some more wounds."

After waiting for Farel's assistance (if he gives it, or not) Aurek collapses back against the wall, and closes his eyes and meditates, however, making sure to do so, while still maintaining enough of a grip on reality to notice any attempt at theft or back-stabbery :P

Helm gave Falkor an odd look as he spoke, but Falkor had no real insights into what the man was saying. The thief seemed to be tellign the truth, but then he was a thief...

"Well, I'm here working for a mage called Fex, who in turn was hired by a dwarf called Deephold - I beleive a clerical member of your and Westian's order, from what I can tell," said Helm, nodding to Aurek.

Helm then gave Falkor a look out opf the corner of his eye, not directly making eye contact. "Fex approached me because someone he had hoped to use to help - a halfling called Falkor - had apparently dropped out. Deephold's mission was to look for the Grey Lord in Mount Anaias, and lords help me Fex offered good money for me to be along to look after any locked doors and traps, if any should come up. I should have known! I should have shut my mouth! I mean, the Grey Lord's always here, isn't he?"

Helm then did decide to look Falkor directly. "So you can imagine my surprise and worry when you are alredy here with another set of clerics, apparently doing the same thing, given that Fex already betrayed us and left us in the lurch in the forsaken place! Literally forsaken!"

Helm grimaced and tried to move out of the way. He was shaking, as if he didn't want to say something. However, he looked aorund and then said to Falkor, "forgive me if I don't believe everyone in your group has lost their memories!"

Farel shuffled. "I don't think we should throw around recriminations and blame." He also looked around. "Infact I'm not sure this is the best place to do anything. Aurek and I heard something when we left our cell block, someone armoured. Please tell me that person was one of the group of soldiers we encountered with you."

While Farel had not idea who Ameena was, he did look around as if searchign for someone. "Wait, if I understand whom is whom correctly, should your cleric Westian not be back by now?"

Aurek got to his feet when Farel spoke to him, breaking his extremely brief meditation (OOC: no action usage for resting, no gains either... consider this me "cancelling" my rest). He had lost track of Westian... "Farel, you're correct. I've lost my charge! Damn it! I need to go find him. Wait here, if I don't return soon, then come look for me through that blue haze." And with that, Aurek shot off back up the corrider towards the teleporter.

Once he reached the haze, Aurek momentarily thinks about what it could do to him... and what it must do, in order to teleport anything at all (the whole breaking things into millions upon millions of bits, and them getting sent somewhere else, to be reassembled)... then, he took a deep breath, and proceeded cautiously through the haze.

Not fully sure what to do since his healing abilities were essentially exhausted and since the murafu was unresponsive, Westian stood in silence for a few seconds thinking. “Ameena, I don’t know if you can hear me. I don’t know has happened, but you look to be wounded. And sick. And tired. It might not be safe to stay here, and you clearly need rest. If you don’t mind I am going to bring you back to the rest of the group, if I can find them. I know that is not what you wanted, but there does not seem to be any other option. If after you are stable you decide you don’t want to stay with us, that is fine. We can discuss it, and everything else that happened, once you are yourself again.” He waited to see if there was any response from the murafu, and got ready to pick her up if no resistance was forthcoming.

Haynuus painfully picked himself up from the floor. The guy in the black armour moved a little too quickly for the half-orc's wounds. "Waaait!..." he shouted to Aurek. And then added to Falkor and the rest - "...Heeeeer!".

He entered the room with the teleporter with the human looking a little apprehensive as to it's purpose. "I too am protectecting the cleric!" gleamed Haynuus like a gloating child. "... Or at least, I think I am." He hobbled after Aurek and waved him down. "I've lost my mind... urrrmmm Memory too. But I can remember Westian asking me for help on a mission. We're on a mission from God!" and with that the half-orc jumped up and down with enthusiasm. His first ever mission, he was only 14 yet it was a big one. None of this here, come with us and look after the donkey type mission the others got. No - this was the real deal. He was so excited. He had recalled Westian's proposition and promised himself to not only thump the unholy vermin that got in the cleric's way but to try to keep his mouth shut as well. He was thrilled, had accepted animatedly the cleric with a big hug and even forgot what it was the cleric had promised him in return. He didn't care. All Haynuus wanted was to belong.

It's just a pity that he didn't understand what Westian actually wanted to do though.

You're the same Ian, Haynuus will be delayed until I think the Ameena biting Westian's...I mean, until the Ameena, Westian thing has played a beat or two.

Ameena hears that voice again. Yes, it's definitely a voice. Not that of the woman-shape, though. The voice has spoken her name a couple of times now, she realises. Then she remembers that it's probably Westian - she recalls him standing nearby and requesting that the two of them talk before she tried speaking to the woman-shape. Slowly his words work their way into her mind and she works out their meaning - everything seems to be running so slowly for her at the moment.
He wants to take her back. Back to the others. She can hardly forget the fight, the blood, the death, but at the moment her desire for simple company and physical contact outweighs all else.
Slowly, she opens her eyes and tries to look up at Westian. Since she doesn't move her head and the half-elf still seems to be standing, however, she can't exactly see very much.
"I just want..." she begins in a weak voice, then half-forgets whatever it was she was going to say. She starts again. "Yes. Alright. Yes. I'll...go back. But...is there some way to block the smell? I...don't want to...smell that again. Or see...any of it. I suppose...I've heard that clerics do things to the dead...make them look peaceful and...stand and talk about them, or something. So I suppose you might have...done that already. But I still don't want to see it...any of it."
She makes an effort to stand, but everything's still too on top of her right now, and she slumps back again.
"If you can...I mean...I don't think I can...walk at the moment. But...please...don't touch..."
She winces as, almost as if to illustrate her point, her left hind leg gives another brief spasm.
"My...my leg." she finishes. "It hurts."
She make another half-effort to stand again, but again fails. She doesn't really want to go anywhere right now. She would much rather just lie still on this stone floor and just let her mind drift away - it seems to have gone far enough as it is.

OOC - So there we go - Ameena will let Westian pick her up (she'll probably weigh about the same as a small dog - think Jack Russell-ish, since although she's not much shorter than Falkor, she'll be much more lithe and stuff), but if/when he touches her left hind leg, she'll react to try and get away from the contact - it's very sensitive and tender right now. She won't try to bite him, though ;). And if he doesn't do/suggest anything to temporarily block out her sense of smell, she'll refuse to let him take her too near the teleporter, let alone through it. Appearance-wise, she's got the obvious smished nose which will look a bit icky, and generally she looks poorly - droopy whiskers and lethargy and stuff. Her injured leg doesn't show any visible signs of damage, but like I said, it'll be very tender to the touch so be nice ;).

[a]Awwwwwwwwww. No finger biting, just snuggles! Westian is deceptively strong and Ameena tiny, so it should be fine. Though the resolution is surprisingly fast :)[/b]

Aurek and then Haynuus emerged from the telep[orter, the twin zaps ringing the air warning Westian and Ameena that two people had emerged.

While Haynuus had seem the sight before, and nothing had changed, of course Aurek had not expereinced the lack of sensation in crossing the barrier, nor seen the new tunnels. The wall declared 'step inside and take a ride' just to the left of the teleporter facing it again. The corridor continued on towards a pit from there. To the right, the corridor became a mess of cracked rock and instantly curved around as if it had been twisted by a giant's hand.

Quickly summarising for you LB

There was the sound of something - perhaps a voice - further down this corridor around the corner.

I assume Aurek will be looking around, so maybe Haynuus alone will go say hey to the group. Unless you two do somethign else :D

Aurek gathered that there was a possibility that his charge might be nearby, so he raised his voice a little and spoke out "Westian, and I think it is A-meen-a, if you can hear me, can you make it known? Westian, you are my charge, and I was foolish to even let you out of my sight for this long. But there are multiple directions here..." raising his voice to an near yell, "Where are you?!" and waited for a response.

While waiting, had a much better look around the room, and each exit. He noticed the "step inside and take a ride", and half-laughed at it, then said to Haynuus, "Pretty sure we just did... hehehe." after laughing a little more, "Someone's got a real weird sense of humor to put THAT in a place like this though."
