Ah, I have a magazine article somewhere on this phone though I can't remember its name. It was however, nicknamed 'the brick'.

No such thing as OT in this particular thread!

Just thought I'd say 'hello'. It is an inn. Not many people 'in' though.

You can post from a PSP? How? I can, from my mobile phone, if I am feeling particularly like a challenge.

I believe Tom has gone off topic ...if he doesn't come back, does that mean I can have his drink?

i dont think my drinks are of any interest to most, if not all, just water from natural places with a touch of squeezed fruit grown in natural areas, which i would just pick myself to squeeze

I suggest that we could set a special hour of a week for a meetings, discussions, chit-chating, blahblah-ing, etc. on the flashchat. If somebody is interested, he might come at that time, so he would have some chance, that he will find some souls there (the flashchat is empty lately). What do you think?
(monday morning from 7 to 8 for example) ;)

You can play DM on a PSP using the UAEPSP emulator... Not too fast though unfortunately :( Paul, you can browse the interweb on PSPs by either using a homebrew browser or the official one with the v2.0 update. Which one are you using Sera?

I'm now seriously considering getting my hands dirty and seeing if I can fiddle around with stuff for the PSP - I want DM on it too! Prob never going to happen though - I'm too lazy :P

On another topic, I 'accidentally' scratched my 17 inch CRT the other day (I cleaned it with the non-spongey side of a scourer) and I decided to replace it with a 19 inch LCD screen. All I can say is 'Ah, my eyes!' and for £162, you can't really argue!

Big flashchat? Sounds like a plan to me! :D

Flashchat has always been a case of 'epopel will be there if they are there'
The best way to get people in flashchat is to log in and stay logged in and listen for the funny sound effect of people entering. An active flynet like that tends to guarantee a night of active flashchat (even if someone goes, by that time someone else comes in, plus you tend to get the stalwarts liek trantor and zyx who will stay logged on if people are in and say hello, even if they are busy at the time with other things

As of this weekend I believe my internet will be a bit more stable, so I might be a round a little more...

Monday 7 - 8??? You do realise some people work, right? : ) Or pretend to?

I can't see that using a PSP to browse with is much fun really. Or to play DM on for that matter. Of course, it beats lugging a PC around with you, but for these people who buy all this 'portable' stuff (mp3 players, PSPs etc) and use them in their houses, I am flabbergasted!

the plan is to make your PSP into almost a video phone via use of Wifi networks. They have a USB camera that is to be relased for it and they have the ear and mic set that come with it already.. so you can see no real need to type. Add to that something like dragon naturally speaking and you could say/spell internet sites and then browse.. potential even for a thumb track ball with triggers.. just think of the possibilities for the future..

I am not convinced as yet. The only time I use the internet away from my house is to check my email on my phone. Cameras on phones etc are pretty dire still, and are just about OK for putting small images on the computer. I hope it works eventually, but I would guess its another three years yet, and even then I would still rather listen to music from my hifi and play games on my PC/full size console. The games for these mini marvels are ridiculously expensive

I spent almost the whole weekend playing Dungeons & Dragons. Having my halfling transformed first into a human and then into an elf while visiting Myth Drannor in its last glorious days has to be at least as scary as a Halloween party. But the real horror for me lies in the knowledge that little children will be ringing at my door the whole evening... Oh, the pain...

I am going to scare the life out of the little sods when they come to my door. A 6ft vampire, and two of my friends who are 6ft 4in each dressed as a black knight and zombie should have the critters turning tail! Got loads of fake blood, teeth, spiders, webs, bats, bones, make up. Should be fun!

I know of at least one person here who likes Rammstein as much as I do (I won't say who so Zyx can perform his voodoo rituals only on me). Their new album Rosenrot came out last Friday, so I immediately bought it. If anyone else here is interested, it is similar in sound and style to their last album Reise, Reise. The sound is a bit more rock-oriented (rather than metal or industrial), and there are a few experiments again, like the Spanish song Te Quiero Puta, which features Mariachi trumpets. A nice album for all those who liked Reise, Reise, though I wouldn't mind if they returned to their roots and played some heavier stuff as well... Still a fine album.

On a totally unrelated topic I really must go to HMV, and I wonder why zyx is doing vodoo at all...

I've got Rosenrot (+ bonus live DVD) on order from Amazon and hopefully it will arrive soon. I thought Reise Reise was excellent though not as good as Mutter which is my favourite heavy metal album of all time. The first time I heard it I was totally gobsmacked - the intensity and power of it totally blew me away.
