all ive been doing is blinding little trick or treaters with my high power torch XD, my house was high in security, you could see the torches just scoping left and right from the top windows, quite fun really, like a fortress :)

I just hate these little children coming here for sweets... A few years ago, there was absolutely nothing of that sort here, but then the wave swept over from America. Really weird stuff... I wonder if this will go down again or even increase - who knows, maybe everybody here will celebrate Thanksgiving in a few years to come (right now, it is an unimportant day in Germany unless you are very religious).

I used to love going around 'trick or treating' when I was younger. I noted all the houses that gave money, changed my mask and then revisited. Of course, I had plenty of tricks too. Usually a box of eggs. I had a pretty good arm on me and could throw an egg nearly 100 yards! Eventually the local shop stopped selling eggs to kids! So I suppose today I don't mind the younger ones knocking on my door, though I like to dress up still and have a bit of banter with them.

BTW, I was reading today about this bloke who decided to dismantle a grenade to make fireworks from its contents. He used a CHAINSAW to open it up. Unsuprisingly, he blew himself to pieces.

Yeah, there are some right berks about. My brother was telling me of someone who tried to steal the cable insulators from an electricity pylon, and fried himself And the guy who performed a bungee jump from a hot air balloon in the Grand Canyon and forgot to tie the other end down and fell 5000ft. And as for him who extracted the gunpowder from toy gun caps, rammed the stuff into a tube with a screwdriver and nearly blew his hand off. Actually, the last one was me. I went deaf for about a week.

Not to drag this back to an opld topic, but just got the new Rammstein album, and nothign has actually stood out too much so far on the firts few listens (Walking to woek though, so stuff never usually does unless it is brilliant)

Speaking of which, I lied, one song did stand out and had me in alternately moshing heaven and hysterics of the good kind - wanna guess which one? Great song

Can't be long now until the Christmas Story part 2. I want to lay odds on that the phrase 'Stamm's beard' comes up more than anything else, and this includes 'Hisssssa's Tail' and 'Chani's moonstone'.

Not long now. I get the honour of starting it. If anyone else does, I'll ban them.

Too true. I've just read the Silly and tiny Christmas story thread and been pissing with laughter. The whole story and it's subsequent analysis was simply superb.

I lay down the challenge: this year's *must* be better!

That will be hard, sicne we will all have tricks from last year to make the story carry on, to try to twist it. There are a few new faces and a few faces not around, but I say to make it different/ better, maybe some strange rules ...just a couple of deviously simple ones.

Ooh yes it is like that isn't it. Well actually it's Cheddar Gorge (ever listened to ISIHAC, Radio 4?)...I might read that Christmas thread myself. I don't think I ever read the whole thing all the way though. I know it got very long though, hehe :).

Cheddar gorge is like the game, but I imagine it having the weird rules of the Mornington crescent game before too long. I love ISIHAC, funny to hear the first ones where Humph is just introducing it normally, compared to now where he is funnily sarcastic. A cool recent Mornington crescent was where they had a car navigation system helping themplay mornington crescent. Anyway, I digress since I didnt' think anyone would get my reference at all : )

Ah yes, the yoda comment, another great quote

Would the Rammstein song be "Zerstören", Beo?

I'm looking forward to my first Christmas story... I can't believe this year is almost over, and that I have been on these forums for 8 months now...

Nope, though that is a bloody good song too (just worked out which number it is)

The song is Te Queri Puta, and I apologise to all Spanish speakers for the bad spelling and the word 'puta' : )

And wow, I really thought you'd been here longer trant! Infact I am surprised it wasn't you who lowered the tone of the thread several times!

I'm not as evil as I seem to be - my reputation seems to be getting ahead of me. And yes, Te Quiero Puta! is a damn fine song, I'd say my favourite on the album together with Spring and Zerstören.

I just heard something interesting on the radio. It said that British people are often naked and drunk while surfing the internet. Paul, why didn't you tell us of your interview with the German radio station?

I would like to announce that I have beaten my personal best! That is the time to clean the house before the parents get back from holiday. 43 mins! it takes most women that long just to clean a few pots, dunno what they complain about!

Hehe, though hiding the remnants of the garden table from the large firework that I set off on it is going to take some explaining...

We just got our termly flat inspection.... A mass cleanup ensued beforehand - the flat looks immaculate now, well apart from some unusual stain on the kitchen floor that noone has a clue what it is :S

Our accomadation manager looked impressed, however, he saw through the facade and knew that we'd cleaned up about 10 mins before he came and so marked us down on that  No prize for us this time :(

Oh well, I suppose it could have been worse, we all could have been snails who destroy garden furnature....

I am wondering if I should buy Resident Evil 4 again for the PlayStation 2. I already have the game for the Gamecube, but the PS2 version features some new content, most notably a new bonus game that explains quite a lot of the story. On the one hand, I think it is silly to buy the same game twice, especially since I dislike the adding of the new content, because everybody who bought it first on the Gamecube now has an "incomplete" version. But on the other hand, I love this game so much that I am considering buying it again. I do have the money, so that is not really an issue.

Any ideas?
