Evening dungeoneers.
I have been away for a while, but as it is getting colder outside I am back indoors. Computer is seriously in a bad way! Need to format the HD soon before it wonders off by itself and triggers WWIII. Do I have to reinstall Windows too? never done this before.

You format HD, you will need to reinstall windows
Oooooooooooooooooor
Buy a new shiny HD, format it, then copy the whole contents of your old one onto it. Lots of swearing later, a perfect copy!

Oh Conflux, this is going to be meaner than I thought.
Basically it is slow, thoughtless, annoying (not my girlfriend) and gives me unpleasant warnings and messages (still not my girfriend), fails to boot, randomly reboots and does lots of other quite amazing things that leave me dumbstruck.
Just have to grit the teeth and do it I suppose.

love how the world conflux is now used as a curse word..
after all the little bits and parts I helped with.. I've never played the game.. except for going a couple rounds against my dragon..
now.. I'm just plain scared to..

Haven't you seen ameena's pictures? It's just one big party...filled with poisonous painful death. And cheese dip!

Just arrived back after an unfortunately timed computer death. Wow, can't believe how big the thread has got already!

Welcome back Paul! I was getting worried as well... Too bad about your computer.
But maybe there is a good side to it as well - hopefully your modem won't get killed as often anymore.

I see the UK has got its annual dumping of 3cm of snow that has sent the country into chaos and fits of fear and buying tinned food.

Anyone checked our newest member out? Apparently 'it' likes sex and hedonism. I have PM'd them to join in the Christmas story.

OK Sara, though I`m not being happy of changing my avatar, I dont want it to cause your leave from the forum.
Maybe that`s good, because that "scary man" is editor-in-chief of one of polish newspapers - I dont know if I had rights to use his face (I`ve got that picture from the site of his newspaper). I wonder if I can use it as one of the monsters in my custom

I am really not sure if this avatar is less scary than the other one Adamo. For some reason, I still imagine you as an angry, man-eating monster...

hehe except that I prefer eating kebabs than people (I`m civilised monster).
And I`m rather angry for myself, that I still cannot find a time to finish my custom...

The computer is completely carfuffled. Might just buy a new tower and be done with it.
