When sending out the email announcement for V0.23, several failed due to accounts no longer existing. Obviously I can't email you to tell you personally, so please excuse the general posting.

If you would like to update your board details, the addresses that failed were the following (I've replaced @s and dots to prevent robots picking up your email addreses for spam, just in case you want to re-activate them at a later date):

no wonder ppl chuck in their e-mail accounts

I was getting 3 or 4 spam e-mails a day on my e-mail A/C and it was driving me NUTS

I had them coming in on my e-mail phone
everytime an e-mail arrived, the phone would shrill and a red light would come on
just to find it was another sodding SPAM !!!

I lived with it for a few months and never replied to even one spam
not one !

just who are the pathetic souls who DO reply ?
there must be quite a few ppl who DO reply or SPAM would not exist

so who are they ? I would personally like to FIREBALL the bastards who reply to spam and manacle them in my own chiefy dungeon for a few weeks, leave em for a hell hound or two to maul over

ok I junked that e-mail account and now feel like a weight has been lifted off me

Hah, I know what you're talking about... I have Trillian installed, so I get notified everytime I get e-mail... And it's such a disappointment, when that e-mail turns out to be either: "Enlarge your Penis safely!" or "Enlarge your breast!" (I'm a male), or "Quit smoking in 7 days" (I have never smoked) and so on.

Makes me mad

I am so lucky that I have my own mailserver. I installed MessageWall software and this week I received no spam offering viagra, porn, big penis or breats, loan, credit card etc. One week before I got about 3 spams per day.
I am sorry not everyone has this opportunity.

they are in the front line against SPAM, check it out maties

personally I think a law should be enacted, making it an offence to be in possession of any list, containing e-mail addresses, used for sending unsolicted messages

this law would at least START to combat the SCUMBAG spammers
