You can also download it but at the moment you can only really walk around and the map isnt really that big.

Let me know what you think, but remebers theres loads of bugs at the moment and I know about the texture problems :]

Just thought Id upload a update, I've included 3 version in this time

Bloodwych3D = The Original Game with 5 levels loaded at once.
Enhanced = Only one level loaded with enhanced graphics
Test = Bloodwych3D but this time its only loading one level

Please can people report back there Video Memory and Avarage FPS's

Theres still LOADS of graphics bugs, Player also cant walk up stairs, which would work but I've hit into a problem with the orginal map data, as the stairs do not lead up to the same offset on the level above/below which means I might be only able to draw one level at a time and have to switch level as the player walks up the stairs, Which would speed it up but then you wont be able to see whats down the stairs or pits :(

This is more of a debug release so I can just work out how much faster/slow i need to make it and off cause people can tell me what they think of it so far :)

Thanks

No I've stopped at the moment as me and Wishbone are working together on Dungeon Maker which will have all the features of Bloodwych3D and more.

I will be remaking Bloodwych, Dungeon Master 1 & 2 in the engine, but he wants to get a graphics artist and level designer to help make his own game with engine.

With his engine it should be possible to remake all the Dungeon Master type games.

Nice features for remakes include

1. Each map can have its own graphics set
2. The engine can load maps and as make levels above/below each other so the levels are truly 3D
3. You will be able to make your own Spells / Monsters / Level
4. Level editor is wicked and almost anythink is possible
5. Most of the level feature of Bloodwych/Dungeon Master,EOB are already working.

Im sure theres loads more but I cant really remember.

Dont suppose your up for helping with some graphics? as at the moment we are just ripping them from other games like, Dungeon Master, EOB, Bloodwych, DM Java and theres even your RTC graphics but I we could really use new monsters and some persific stuff like, Spell graphics and Objects. If theres anyone that willing to help please post here or let wishbone know all the objects/monsters are done in 2D so you dont need to know 3D :)

not likley to be specific to your engine I'm afraid. I'm having enough trouble trying to fit time for the RTC GFX set and I'm mainly doing that since I started it a long time ago and want to complete it. Best I can do is any textures I build for the objects I'm doing in 3D for the RTC graphics is provide access to some of them. However, that is less likley since most of that is going to be comming preliminary versions of commercial stuff I'm doing.

I really just don't have the time unfortunately. I really would and I'm super tempted. I just know myself and I bite off more than I can handle and it get's me into trouble.

The link for Bloodwych 3D was just a pointer to this topic, but it's changed since we've moved the forums, so I have updated it.
