How quick are you?

How much time does it take from you to reach the certain points of the DM or to complete the game?

Man, I have to take the time sometime.

On DM, I think I once clocked myself at something like 4 and a bit hours. THis was 'total DM'...do every puzzle you can, kill everything you can (like do both starting doors on level 10, do two cross key paths on level 11, kill all the golems on 7, spring the spider trap, etc). SInce you kill everything, you gain decent level, so no training breaks (people sure do learn the stamina potion quickly though...no sleep either : ) )

I've no idea if that's a good or a bad time, but it's the only time I actually went 'hmm, how long dfoes this take..ready.,..go!'

i think, 4 hours are quite ok. i personally sleep, but i cant say if that costs or saves time...in a time trial i could reach a much better time: 30 mins training, 30 mins walk through, id say...
i think the fulyapitrace 1:30h is a incredible time, but if i remember right, csb has shorter ways to walk... (didnt play csb TOO much...)

wow

I am a perfectionist.... No way I could do that in 4 hours.. I will sit up on the first screamer regen point and train myself to rediculously high lvls then tackle the next few levels.

Takes me longer for sure. I like to train my characters and use the careful approach, although seeing the record movies I'm tempted trying the 2- or 1-person party soon... but rather safe than sorry. No way I could manage CSB in 20 minutes anyway

Well, DM took me about five days (not non-stop play though of course lol) the first time I played it (since downloading RTC, can't remember how long it used to take back on the Atari but I think I as aobut six at the tiem :)), and two days the second time...total time was 7 hours, 48 minutes and 7 seconds and I'm the fastest person on George's high score table thingy over on his RTC site. But I don't have the highest score - my characters rank 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th on the table...one of my dad's characters is 1st place but technically he didn't finish the game - I did. He died too much trying to get Lord Chaos and in the end he let me do it for him 'cause he wanted to get on and start CSB. I did the Dragon for him as well, great fun :)

Well, there are people like Antman who hardly need half an hour to solve CSB. I have never been trying to play for speed, but I will soon and report then how long it will have been taking me.

Thanks for the young artisan ;) But since you had a lot of posts at the ezboard, I guess you're welcome to write as a senior member...

I have no idea how fast I play through the game. I find it a bizarre criterion, though an intriguing one, that Gilbert has set up for "scoring" the game. I look forward to finishing DM to see how I "rate". I'm sure I don't play through in four hours, though.
