winged key, for bottom of main DM staircase

as you guys know, there is a huge central staircase in DM that is accessed plenty by skeleton keys
right...
down down down the bottom of the staircase is a final locked door, 'winged key' opens it I THINK
well I finished DM, fused chaos BUT never found the winged key, or saw what was behind this door !
anybody know where the winged key is stored in DM please ?

I can help you there...the Winged Key is on level 7 (the one with the Stone Giants, where you get the Firestaff). Here's how to get there if you don't have a map (and if you did you might have found it so I take it you don't
)
Okay, you go north, through the three Ra doors. Then you hit a corner and turn left (west). You go past four doors on your right which all require a turquoise key (as well as a turning on the left which leads to a central door which opens once to take the Firestaff). The fifth door on your right requires the Ruby Key which you should have picked up on level 11 (that's the level with the Water Elementals. The key is in an alcove near the central stairwell along one of those thingys like "Zoooom", only slower. Grab the key when you stop at the corner). Go through the Ruby Key door (heading north) and walk till you hit the wall. Turn left and walk through the wall there.The corridor turns left, then right, and you should be in a corridor which stretches a long way to the south (left). Go south seven spaces (says my map) and look on one of the walls. There should be a button there somewhere. Press it and turn back north. A wall has opened up at the corner and the Winged Key is inside, on the floor I believe.

Something I didn't find when I finished DMO last week was a Skeleton Key to unlock the central stairwell on level 13 (Lord Chaos's level), not that I needed it. Might have overlooked it in the hint book or something

There is one too few skeleton keys...i ignore level 12, since chaos's entrance on 13 is right beside the level 12 main stairs anyway!

Yeah the lack of that single key didn't really bother me or anything...I didn't know (or, more likely, didn't remember from about ten years ago) that there weren't enough keys, and tihnking about it I think that to leave level 12 and unlock level 13 instead is probably a better idea...I wouldn't plan on going for a walk on lvel 12 anyway, those damn Spell Vines
