Open the game with Scipts

From the thread about creating spells, Amaprotu would like a sripptable spell engine.
That is a great idea.
Could this be looked at, and be more general.
Could with have scripts, to program game extensions, that use basic features of the engine?
Is that a lot of work ?

It's a good idea, but yes, it's a LOT of work. I believe George is more keen to get RTC working as-is, before attempting to change the engine in any fundamental way. And I think the priority once the game engine is complete will be to build a map editor...

Wouldn't you want to make fundamental changes to the engine *before* its finalized?? That was my thought anyways.

Perhaps I worded that poorly: What I meant was "I think the RTC engine is at a point where fundamental changes are not possible without re-writing most of the code."
This is purely speculation on my behalf - I'm sure George will let us know otherwise...

Spells are now customisable in V0.35
