- The Graphics Set of DM2 should be contained, including all monsters and items...if possible. the mummies of DM2 for example look great.
- it would be a nice idea to have some monsters who can fire missiles, like skeleton archers or such. (ok, that would require them to have ammo and spill the game a bit with arrows, rocks and such)
- stepping speed of the party should be increased (maybe a problem of my slow cpu - AMD K6-2 500mhz, voodoo3-2000, 128 megs Ram, Soundblaster 128...i dont hope so) by about 25%. its very hard to dodge missiles and the game is a bit slow this way (it lasts too long to walk some corrider where nothig happens for example)
- sometimes there are sound problems (sounds are not played correctly), for example when continously stepping against a wall. a solution would be more sound channels or to interrupt the sound just beeing played by a new one when a new sound-creating event takes place.
- some new weapons would be a nice idea. not with new attack options, but maybe with user-defined combinations (like a chop, bash, berzerk-weapon) and the ability to let a weapon do double-swings, like the one in DM2.
- ideas how parry/stun and block/hit on weapons could work:
parry: the fighter who parries takes only a lowered amout of melee damage, as long as his attack button is grey
stun: the monster is stunned for the half (or half of) the time attack button of the stunner is grey, making his next attack come later
block: the blocker takes lowered melee damage, as long (or twice as long) as his attack buttons remains grey
hit: this shield attack should be added a bit of melee damage and it should also "stun" the attack of a monster a bit
a "grey" button means of course an inactive one. i didnt see any obvious effect to these attacks in the original DM.
- new equipment
maybe all character should be able to wear in addition to the existing possibilities gloves and rings, which could improve character stats or things like learning, nourishment, skill levels, stats or such. this would force to change the images of stormring and eye of time to little wands to avoid confusion. this should, if implented, be optional to the dungeon creater. (sorry, im playing to still to much diablo 2).
- the editor should be able to rename all items and maybe also the attack options (maybe already implented)
