George, is an automap facility in the pipeline for the near future? (or is there one that I've somehow missed?) It will be particularly useful when the level editor becomes available.

There is a test dungeon with the automap in it. It is available but its not in the DM dungeon cuz, well, its not in the DM dungeon.

That's not an automap, that is a 7 squre 'where you are now' map like in DM2 that was available in the amiga CSB.

Aahhh yeah you are right Beowuuf.
Hm automap might be nice, but getting lost is one of the aspects of this game... If such a feature were implemented, I think it should be disableable (hehe i like that word for some reason) in the dungeon file by the dungeon creator. That way I can decide whether I want you to know where you are or not. =p

'Disableable' is fine by me. Yeah, great word - pity it (almost certainly) doesn't exist! Not in 'English' English anyway. American English may be different, they have some strange words. But I'm sure they say that of us!
Who was it (either George Bernard Shaw or Noel Coward), "Britain and America, two nations divided by a common language." ?
