DM2 Weapon actions

Similar to DM2, how about the ability to initiate a grab from the pouch or quiver if the character has an empty hand.

I'd suggest if the character has an empty action hand, then when it is clicked on, between the name and the pass options, are two (or three) tiny icons. One for the quiver section, one for the pouch section (and one from the backpack?)
Click on the quiver, and if there is an item in the quiver it is transfered. Click on the pouch, and the bottom most item in the puch is transferred into the action hand. Click on the backpack, and the last item in the backpack is transferred to the action hand.

In line with this, have a few more actions associated with items. All consumable food has an 'eat' action, all potions have a 'drink' option. Have these actions cost some time - so if you are in the inventory and eat/drink it is assumed you are concentrating on doing this fast, but of course you can't move when you do this. If you are using eat/drink with action buttons, it's assumed you are moving and concentrating on the dungeon, so are fumbling with the stopper, eating slower, etc

I strongly support th idea of a "draw item" icon. by the way, it would be nice, if ammunition would be automatically drawn first; I mean, if a monster is crawling up the floor, it would make sense first to throw the knive in your hand, then the knives you have on your belt and then draw your sword, not throw one knive, draw your sword and ignore your remaining ranged ammo, as it is presently.

Nah, if you want your sword, then it's stupid to have to go through all the ammo to get it
I think it's a balance, if you want to keep throwing items then you don't put a sword in the first slot...if on the other hand you are just getting in a quick throw before going hand to hand because you are a front row guy, then you get your sword right off
