Hall of Critical

Moo! I wanted to be the first for the global Hall of Fame, but alas, when I fuse Chaos in "Original DM" in RTC V0.24 the Grey Lord appears to say thank you, the overall party score is displayed (but I don't get the score system; could you explain that somewhere please?), the kill rate is displayed, then follows an RTC display box "Saving Champions" for some seconds, and then a RTC dialogue box is displayed, saying "Critical error - terminating program Can't open file Modules/DM_Original.RTC Attempting to terminate program in [1<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 0] --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /alien.gif ALT="0]"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> seconds OK" (you can't click ok anyway cause you have no mouse pointer and "Enter" does nothing), the countdown is counted down, and the program is terminated followed by a critical-error-windows-MessageBox.
So I got no Great Hall, neither local nor global.
Any idea ?!?

K, thanx to George the problem is solved: My DM_Original.RTC had a write-protect flag set. Removed that and all went fine.

No problem - glad to be of service.

To help stop this sort of thing happening again, I've put some code into V0.25 to ensure that module files are not write protected before loading them...

I had that problem, but I figured it out as the same thing had happened on my first attempts to save what I'd done when messing around with The Zoo.
