Encumberance, injuries, and recovery times

Some general points about the above:

1) Likelihood of becoming poisoned from rock piles and/or worms seems very low indeed - I've hardly had to use any Bro potions, and that's when fighting all the massive amount of worms on level 4

2) Likelihood of taking a critical injury (one that requires Vi to fix it) seems non existent - I have yet to see a bandage on any of my body parts (!) Falling down a pit usually breaks your foot or leg, but not in RTC.

3) The encumberance allowance seems to not increase much at all. I'm on level 8 now, and Stamms allowance is still 44Kg which means he can't carry much more than 2 weapons, a chest and one piece of armour, plus a few small food items. I need to check this, but it seems like it's not increasing.

Just checked Stamm's initial load - it should be 52Kg! I'm only on 44Kg - either the default characteristics for champions are wrong, or if the load is worked out from other factors, it's too low. In my party I also have Tiggy, Daroou and Elijah and their load values should be 34, 50 and 44 respectively. They are currently 26, 44 and 34. These figures are too low compared to DM but arguably RTC may be more realistic though. What do others think?

4) Experience is a long time coming - seems to take far longer to achieve wizard/priest levels than in DM.

5) Characters with no mana can be given magic items in DM and gain mana by sleeping. This doesn't work in RTC.

Poison - conversely it starts at a high level of damage, but longer intervals...I think this one shouldn't be changed til lots of people have played more a figured out what feels right...and the interruption of sleep is a little odd too with poison. I agree so far that poison does seem to be rarely inflicted

Encumbrance is on a sliding scale now, so champions now appear much lower in encumbrance that they did before...plus like i observed earlier DM actually used to boost encumbrance during strenuous periods so it will be even more noticeable. I had Wuuf at 29kg to start, and by the time his stamin was at a low level his load was at 1kg (went to 0!). Maybe having the scale more exponential, so that weight is only severaly reduced in the last percentage of stamina - a half drop loses 5 - 10kg, then half again another 5 - 10, etc

It seemed that weight carrying was always comparible with strength - a character of 50 strength would have over 50kg carrying capacity, modified by other things
