This might be a casualty of the constant crashes
Sometime in the last few days the last three champion portriats have disappeared, and a black square displayed instead
At first i thought it was a one off low memory indicator, but it has continued in every game i've played, so must be a glitch in the saved game now, or other bug

I can send you the game if you need to see it

The save games include the portraits in them (so you can edit them - when I get round to writing that bit!), so if something else has caused them to go blank and then you save the game then the blanks will be remembered from that point onwards I'm afraid.

I'ts an artifact of the memory handler and bitmap allocations rather than the save game routines.

It still needs fixing though

It could be just because of the crashes on saving then...sometimes it would crash during, but the game was always fine after (except forthis one thing)
Maybe it crashes at handling the saved game bitmaps due to their larger size?
