Since scaring skeletons is part of some riddles in CSB, please George, reduce their fear resistance: To get that damned skeleton into that niche Ialmost gave up after countless unsuccesful tries of war crying them or using the Horn of Fear: They seemed to be totally immune (craftsman difficulty against LoMaster characters, they also seem to been immune against calm and brandish. The only thing that finally worked was confuse, with about one success in about 35 tries, that's simply to less.

The 'fear' model in RTC is quite different to DM, but more realistic. You need to try slightly different tactics. To quote George:
Quote:
When you peform a fear attack there's a certain probability (different for each monster, and adjusted by horn/war cry and the characters stats) that the monster will be afraid and start to run away. If you blow the horn again, when they're running they'lll run some more. If however they don't run away and choose to ignore you, if you keep on blowing then they'll keep on ignoring you. If you wait a bit and try again you might have more luck, but sitting in-front of a monster continually blowing away isn't very scary ;-)

I know this already, and even continually creating new skeletons doesn't get a better result. The system of RTC is ok, it's just that the overall fear-resistance is much too high, but this is only really annoying with the skeletons becaus of the Neta/Ros-DDD.
