How To play CSB on a PC

I look for help from experts about 68000 emulators.
Which emulator do you recommend ?
Which CSB: Atari/Amiga ?
It would be wonderful to have a step by step procedure to make it easy for newbies.
Cheers, twinfalls.

I have always used Pacifist (downloadable from Dan's site, I think). An ST emulator. Everyone says that Amiga emulation is a lot easier and smoother but I haven't tried it, I did emulate some games using WinUAE a while back but not CSB. <p><font face=arial>Ian

I know Gambit has a good set up for CSB on WinAUE, and there are a few old posts on the subject. <p>"It's not a bug, it's a feature...oh wait, it is a bug..."</p>

Sorry i have a question.

You can download CSB for windows from the dm/csb encyclopoedia right now, which runs the atari st version (better than an emulator) or you can wait for Return To Chaos, which is already available, to have the CSB dungeon for it in the next release or two i'd guess : )

New versions of emulators seem to have a problem running with CSB, so these are possibly the two most hassle free methods

Hi everyone.

Cool board. :D

I'm reasonably new to emulation and have just taken to tracking down emulators of my old favourites from my old ST 520. Among classics like Millenium 2.2 and Dungeon Master I found a copy of CSB. I had never played it on the ST 'first time round' and thought I would give it a go. The copy I have is one 'disc' including CSB and the utlity disc. When you first start playing you are told to pick your fighters, save the game and then restart with the utility disc.

The emulator I am running is STeem (as I find it easy to use and save with) but the save games aren't actual save game files.

Do any of you know a way around this problem to allow me to play this game?

Any help is mucho appreciated. <p>

I appologize if this has been mentioned before. At the following site is a PORT of CSB to DOS! I haven't tried it, but here's the info for those interested. I've also added the files to my own file archive at my site also listed below.

Enjoy!
