The Map is not a Territory

ok i'm in retro heaven now i have found this website and reading about cheats in DM jogs my memory...
I orginally played the game on Atari ST and I had the map for all the levels a map which seems uncannily similar to the one provided here. Which makes me wonder on Level 4 or 5 where you first meet those snake things there is a secret door not drawn in on the map. It is a little room that contains 3 or so bomb potions of fire but mainly poison ones...Know what I'm talking about???
Anyone else find anything which is not on the map in DM?
