Which is the best armor in DM1 ?? Is it the Darc-Plate because it's the heaviest ?? Which function do have the Power Towers ??

I downloaded the Dungeon.dat where you can play DM2 ind DM1 and found the Power Towers there.
Can you tell me ??

I believe darc plate und lyte plate are the best and you should have both. The power towers function as a normal armor AND increase the strength by some points.

I also like Flamebain for its resist fire. comes handy at the last 2 levels

Does the heaviest armor protect me at best ??

I think so, because it's not only the heaviest, but also the hardest to get in the original dungeon. But to protect both front characters, you will also have to use the lyte armor. I never managed it to give armor to all four characters, because there's always one who can't carry enough. So I always have to take the mithral aketon instead of a torso plate for my wizard.
