Still no damn sound !!

Grrr ! I installed VDMSound (or what), edited the files, set right IRQ (5), checked, everything ok. Run DM with VDMS, set soundcard to soundblaster and of course NO SOUND AT ALL. I have SB 32 ISA, so tell me what shall I do??

I find on DM i have to set it to ad-lib (7), NOT soundblaster (6), to get sound even if the card is configured (through the dm2 setup, funnily) for soundblaster

Hm, I tried, but what I hear I can barely call sound. Just "cracking" or something like that :(

I too get only PC-speaker sound, which is probably a problem of my VIA-onboard sound. Still found no solution.
