I have started playing DM on the Atari St again after about a 10 yr gap. I'm stuck on level 5 where there is a flashing teleport field a door then another teleport field. I cant get past the first field. Have read the walkthrough on this site, but am still stuck. Any help would be gratefully recieved!

Make sure you aren't overloaded first (no characters in the yellow with their load, leave things by the keyhole if you need to).
Some people then try to time a ZO spell to open the door, personally i just hold the hand at door opening level and try to open it normally before I get teleported away.
After that it should all be timing. DON'T get into a rhythmn of trying for the space, just keep trying different times during the field's cycle. Save the game after you pass the first field if it makes it easier.

I already have the door open with a zo spell, but will certainly try out your other suggestions. Thanks very much for the advice, Im away to have another try now.
