First off, I found out through Dmute or something that you gain the most exp on the level with Lord Chaos. I usually calm the Fire Elemental near the Ra gates and practice with punches and jabs. This causes no damage, however, the attacks seem to be solid and not the same as attacking air. Does this mean that I gain the same amount of exp as I would from attacking a solid monster?
Second, because jabs are so much faster than a berzerk attack, I seem to gain levels faster by using them. Is there a set amount of exp aquired for each kind of attack or are they all the same?
Lastly and least important, I can cause some big damage with a Berzerk attack. The most damage I remember ever causing was 376. This was done with a strength level as low as 66. Has anyone caused damage significantly higher than 367. It seems that with a strength of 250 or so, you would be able to cause at least 500 or so every once in a while, but I drank many Ku potions and never saw any spectacular numbers in the damage I caused. Has anyone seen anything real high?

i once did 150 dam at the first mummy, with halk using his club, bashing it...

Stone clubs, usually useless, but there is a small chance of it doing HUGE damage
i lucked killing a golem blocking me into a corridor with a normal 50 odd strngth fighter, and did over 350 damage in a swing!

Talk about WOW! I just started a new game with reincarnated characters, and I set their secondary stats to single numbers. most attacks I did were no higher then 5, however I managed a punch that caused 538 points of damage. At first I thought I just imagined it but I did it again later causing damage in the fourhundred range. On a side note, it's funny seeing Screamers cause over ten points of damage with one attack. My recorded strength at the time was 6. Go Gothmog!

Just set a new record of 793! I can't even get pass the door that "NONE SHALL PASS" and I can do that much damage? Great. BTW each of these HUGE attacks have been done to Screamers. I have yet to cause any other monster this much damage in a single hit.

Seems to work on all monsters I've come across.

must be some calculation bug, where some damage formula is not made for a str below 20, this could explain your very hi dam at this very low str.
but screamers seem to have the lowest armor and are most affective to hi dam :)
my best dam was a 378 with the execblade in csb at some worm :)
also 369 on a dragon and 350 on a knight (!). had about 75-80 str or such (reincarnated hissssa from dm imported).

I did over 500 damage to a rockpile with this low strength number. After you reach a strength of about 12 or so, the punch attack seems to work like normal.
