Hi! I just discovered this site recently and I have found it to be very helpful. I have a question about Tiggy. . . Is Tiggy a girl or a boy? When I was a little girl, I used to watch my mom play DM and she would only use Tiggy, but she could never figure out which gender Tiggy was supposed to be. Now we have an iMac with OS X. Does anyone know where to download the original Dungeon Master for our computer. My mom never did finish the game. Please respond. : )

She is a she...there is a hidden gender tag that you can see with a programme called Textmute.
Look around the site more, you can find DM, TExtmute, and alot more besides

Incidentally does anyone think that Tiggy is the worst character in the game? (Although I've completed the game with just tiggy, and again with just stamm to see if it was possible:)

yes, i prefer boris as the extra mana doesn't make up for poorer health and stamina

stamm is the man, i can complete the game uite easily with just him (or just halk)

Besides, Tiggy is the damn best Mage in the game!

Wrong. Chani is the best wizard :P
(she has 57 wisdom at the beginning, while tiggy has only 50)
The only advantage tiggy has, is that tiggy has 18 mana points more thus is able to get more experience through spells.


I think the best hero to play dm as a one-"man" team is sonja... Well but I think it's possible with every character, you just have to be careful in the first levels and sleep very often if your priest levels are not high enough yet.

What about Wuuf? Do you think it's HE or SHE?

I thought tiggy was a he. I would never have used her if it was a she, and it would explain why she could never carry a couple oh chests lol wimpy woman :p

I hope I get it working soon because if I do I'm going to reincarnate one character and complete the game

i can tell wuuf is female because u can read that in textmute by zyx, which extracts things like the gender of the characters (and "some" more useful things)

You guys should look at the portraits in the Chaos section. And I have to say Wuuf looks alot more manly!! :)

What about publishing a simple list of those hidden characteristics for all characters?

well, she's the best wizard out there and 7 is a magic number *g*

I started playing the game when it first came out and I was much younger then and I remember wondering if Tiggy was a boy or a girl..I just started playing it again and I know now, but I reused to reincarnate Tiggy and name her something like Pat HeSheIt ..lol. I think I like Tiggy's hair the best!

I was also confused about the gender of Wu Tse because of the 'son of heaven' part in the name..Wu Tse clearly has a big bosom

What sort of girl is Wuuf? You all have seen her new portrait in CSB .. What is her true character?....

It's suggested bios to go with the pictures...go by them, don't go by them, help write one for your favourite character! : )

LOL, I never would have imagined in a million years I would discover a dicussion about the gender of Tiggy or Wuuf :) (only just stumbled upon the message board a few days ago)

I have watched many eastern movies and have found there quite often characters which belonged not to the gender they pretended to (althoug this is usually obvious to the audience). Maybe Wu Tse refers to that.

Wow just played DM for the first time since 88 and when i was choseing my character and unsolved question poped into my head, yes you guessed it Tiggy, Wuuf? I'm glad i'm not the only one whos spent hours wondering. i have to say i was always pretty sure tiggy was a man.
