Has anyone else had problems running Dungeon Master with Windows XP?

Help, I'ved tried to to run the PC version but got no sound, now I run the Amiga version it crashes after the Dungeon Master logo and before the entrance to the dungeon.

Do you have a PCI soundcard?

I can run DM just fine under WIN XP on a similar machine with my old AWE 32 PnP soundcard (ISA)

On my main machine I have a Sound Blaster LIVE! (PCI) and the sound refuses to function.

Since it mentions this in the download section, that would be my guess as to the cause.
