Here are many questions I'd like you to answer for the original DM or CSB, and for RTC if you know... it is supposed to be the same

1
Does someone know the real effects of each stat ?

What I'm sure of:
Strength: improve damages and load
Dex: improve missiles damages
Wisdom: I am sure of nothing
Vitality: improve protection againt poison attacks
Anti-F: reduce damages against fireball
Anti-M: reduce damagse against spells

According to me Strength is the most important stat: I make lots of ku potions to forget load problems and make hudge damages.

So
Strength is for fighters
Dex for Ninjas
Wisdom for Priest and/or for wizards ?

2
Do you know the effect of invisibility spell ? Creatures behavior does not seem to be different

3
what are the differences between armors exept weight ?
Is there a way to measure it ?

4
Is there a way to make new items in RTC exept by cloning ?

5
What do you think of DM Java ?

Thank you Champions

Ok, third time i've tried to reply to this!

1. Wisdom affects spellcasting and mana regeneration, dexterity also affects your chances of being hit in combat. You can yuse Dmute and maximise or minimise stats to see more effects. Perosnally i maximise strength too for large combats, but it depends on your playing style. While you are right about the split of attributes, ninjas and fighters can do well with the reciprocal one, especially ninjas and strength.

2. Invisibility does make you invisible, so that some creatures won't notice you. It's just a) short lasting, and b) there are other senses that some creatures have that mean they can still be aware of you...

3. You can use rain's tool to see the armour effects of each piece. Basically Mithril armour is both lighter and better than chainmail. But otherwise the heavier the armour, the better it is. Armour of lyte is lighterbut abotu as good as plate, while the armour of darc is the best. Shields and helmets also boost this armour factor. And basically, the beter your armour, the less damage you are lkely to have inflicted against you - golems can be fatal without it!

4. No, you can only make new items through cloning, but once cloned the many of the new items properties can be radically altered. We are just waiting for George to be happy with RTC and release the list when he is o inclined : )

5. DM java is a good clone, with new spells and so on. Personally i never got into it because of playing with RTC, and alos i didn't liek the tough engine with regards to levelling up/stamina and poison

Although it's a CSBEdit tool, not much changes between DM and CSB other than names, really
