I seem to have a misunderstanding when I reincarnate a character in the prison.

The website says "Reincarnating a champion slightly improves statistics and removes all skill "

However, what is happening is that the character ends up having all of their stats set to 30 to 33, and their hit points drop to around 100 ..

Is this typical?

There was an old version of CSB for Windows that had a bug which
caused all statistics to be set to approximately 30. It was fixed several
versions ago. There may be references to the precise version number
in the "Race to the FUL YA Pit" forum because it very directly affected that
competition.
