They have a function on certain hidden floor triggers i seem to recall, and some other effects in the dain path

I can find no use for the Orange Gem. If anyone knows of
a use, let me know. The ASCIIDUMP.txt shows no use.

That was it, stops xytaz generation on the demon level if you still have it,but mostly needed to solve the first dain stuff (coatyl rooms)
