i have a problem with the german version 3.1 (amiga) of csb.
I can create my party in the prison. but creating a new adventure with the
german utility disk fails with the error: "wrong or damaged saved game".
I downloaded all programs and configs from this site.
Does anybody have a workaround for that?

Hmm, would you mind playing the English version?

i tried the german amiga version, since i'm unterstanding it far better than the english one:) but the english version 2.0 is working

Can you try english with v3.6 so that we know if the problem is only with german, or more general with your emulator config, save disk image, or anything else...

it seems, that the problem only occurs in the german amiga version 3.1 of chaos strikes back.
i created a savegame in the prison (csb / 3.1 / english). this savegame was usable with all of the english utility disks (csb utility disks R1 / R2 / R3).
this savegame was not usable with the german utility disk. it was not even recognized as a csb save game.

then i created a savegame in the prison with the german version 3.1 of the game disk. this save game could be loaded with the german utility disk, i can alter the characters an so on, but when i push the button "make new adventure" an error occurs: "falsches oder beschaedigtes gespeichertes spiel" which means "wrong or corrupt save game"

I have tested and reproduced your problem... I found no workaround though :(
