DM2 Error

The Problem:
When i try to start DM2 under Windows98 SE, game plays two first animations (FTL and DM2: Legend of Skullkeep) and next game shows:

R#EFRWEAVQ$RV@
ERROR: #@%$#F@T#
##$QT V$#
V$#TV#Q
ERROR: VQDV
and other blah, blah, blah,
next game says: Bye! and exits
DOS:
I see Interplay word, and next, when FTL animation should appear, then computer hang himself and i must reset him.
I downloaded boot disk from this site. And i managed to start DM2. Animations don't appeared and there was no sound. I started my Sound Blaster 16 emulator. Next i tried to play the game but then again FTL animation hanged computer. What to do. Download Amiga version???
My computer: P3 733 mhz 196mb ram graphic: Nvidia Vanta/Vanta LT
sound: CMI8738/CD3X PCI Audio Device
PS: I gotta original version of DM2 buyed 7 years ago
PS2: When i enter this WWW page my hard disk work very hardly unless i will not close IE
