Hi all,

In the beginning of the game, where you find the glops,
there is a little shell.

It can be reproduced with a "ya ew" spell.

But... what use can it be of ?
(apart making loads of trash items)

Not consumable... doesn't give a characteristic bonus...
nearly useless as a weapon...

If someone knows something about this, please let me know,
as this is the one and only DM2 mystery that still puzzles me.

It is a magic marker that shows up on magic maps. I think it is the Dain button that shows it on the map. You can also use dead bats, arrows, and slayer arrows as magic markers.

YOu can get them by killing the bats in a cave near the starting area.

Or were you just wondering how is possible to use a dead bat for a marker?

You can also use the marker for weight. For instance right after you exit the cauldron room there is a pressure platye on the floor. Mark that spot with your minion map, go to the door and make your Ya Ew. Then send your minion to drop it off and open the door.

Huh. Good idea, Telrunya. I always used an apple. :)
