Nexus = Dungeon Master??

I looked through the manual and it appears to me that Nexus is a 3d version of dungeon master - ie it uses the same dungeon, monsters, etc.
Does anyone else know if this is correct?

It does look that way when i play but different. some of the opening movies ect seem different then the original. hard to discribe, esp when i'm so very bad at it. much less saving(system memory almost empty, not exactly sure how to save, ect).

its alot like the orginal dungeon master.. some of the riddles are the same.. but the stage maps are different.. there are some new monsters.. and new stuff play it and have fun.. i am upto level 8
and i am getting done bad!
