Version 9.51j is at

http://dianneandpaul.net

Fix another Divide-by-zero problem when Maximum Attribute = 0;

Fix crash when party is struck by fireball. Atari code released
the database entry before extracting the timer index. This was
broken when I put in the code to not release cloned objects.

Remove warning about size two monsters being improperly positioned.

Just found another bug in versions 951i & 951j (only) :

Texts on walls are more or less badly drawn when seen at distance 2 or more. They do not always appear when seen from the side, or cause real corruption when seem from front, one step back.

Well, I diddled with wall text in 951i. Must have broken it.
That's life in the big dungeon.

I tried several different things. Different sized lines.
Various numbers of line. It all seemed to work OK
with version 9.51j.

So maybe you need to send me a dungeon and
tell me exactly where to stand and which way to
look to see the problem.

You understand that you should not be able to read
the text? You get some indication of its size but
that is all. Unless you stand directly in front of it.

Hello, :)

Hmmm... I've got the same problem with texts on walls, in versions 9.51i and 9.51j of CSBWin.

Here is a zip file in which you will find a small test dungeon.dat file and 2 screenshots I took while using this dungeon with CSBWin v9.51j (I just entered the dungeon and walked straight forward).

Hmmmm. That's rather ugly. Looks like I
have a project for tomorrow.

Thanks for the files. They fail nicely for me.
