I was looking through the stats and found links brought people from Japan to this humble forum.

If you use babelfish to translate.. there are some interesting links here and comments. Nice to see all the links from all over!

http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~rucasyu/dm.htm
and
http://www001.upp.so-net.ne.jp/rmina/dm ... _link.html

Nice to have you visit! if they aren't in the links they should probably be added since they were kind enough to add us. :)

They'll only show up if you have the necessary language pack installed -- you can either do it during your install of Windows, or use Windows Update website, or any page that uses them and is correctly encoded should automatically ask to install them if you're using IE...

Let's take the opportunity of this thread to thank our Japanese friend kentaro-k.21 for the tremendous work he did on decoding DM2 data files and the many various tools he has programmed. They are available at the encyclopaedia: Editors for DM2 dungeon and graphics, tools for the SNES version of DM, etc...

This is a major contribution to the community from Japan!
