GAME/EDITING: Full size wallitems interfere with objects

I've been messing about with full size wallitems (wallitems that are the same size as the largest wall tile front view).
There's a serious problem here which I've not seen before:
Mouse clicks on these large wallitems are processed BEFORE mouseclicks for items on the dungeon floor. So it's not possible to pick up any floor objects that overlap the wallitem if you click on the part of the object that overlaps.
You CAN pick up an object by clicking on any part that doesn't overlap these oversized wallitems.
