Teleporting monsters onto a pit

I have a teleporter which should teleport monsters onto a pit so that they would fall to the level below and die. However, this seems not to be working. Is it supposed to be that way or is it a bug?

i would weant it to work this way too...
the teleporter has some rules for stopping it dropping on monsters, perhaps it stops monsters dropping onto pits if they are open too?
what you could do it put a trigger-activated pit instead, and see if this works, or if it's something different...

Yes, I actually already changed the puzzle so that it works now with triggers. I think it's better this way, but I'd suspect there could be situations where "into the pit via teleporter"-behaviour would suit much better.

are you just wanting to kill the mosnter? If so why not a kill monster flag for the triggers?
I'm just curious why you want to teleport it over a pit to kill it.. :/
I don't do much editing of dungeons so I dunno if this is common practice or not.. (I'm just annother dumb artist)

Well, I suppose I could tell you why since I already rejected that dungeon

I had this place, "Menagerie", a little zoo owned by Vexirks. Right above it was the room of screamers. Initially I called it 'The Feeding Machine'.
Need I say more

conjurs up an image of some poor screamer teleporting above a pit (BAMF!) and hanging there a second like in the roadrunner. It's little tree feet twitching in the are.. "SkREEEEEEEEP!" falls to it's doom.
Very amusing.
